You could try caring for your loved ones, and protecting them to the best of your ability, and doing good deeds in the name of the lord. I get it man, the world sucks, but that doesn't mean your own life needs to suck too.

Just because someone is not a fascist, communist, or other sort of authoritarian collectivist does not mean that he must be a hedonist.
