Yugoslav Wars

Who was in the wrong, who was in the right? Did the Bosnians and Croatians have it coming for wanting independence? No kebab memes please.

this map explains all

Those nations had the right to declare independence and become better. It was the Serbs who wanted keep their cobbled together artificial country, it's amazing it lasted as long as it did without exploding.

Let me break that illusion with one of your own.
Wrong
Milosevic, Tudjman, Izetbegovic
Right
The people
The Serbs were denied their right of self determination. The AVNOJ borders were not meant as borders of countries. Aleksandar Rankovic: "Who cares if Vukovar is in Serbia or in Croatia if they're both in Yugoslavia"

>The Serbs were denied their right of self determination
no, the bosnians and croats were, you mongol

More importantly how do we fix it?

Bring back the Ottomans

Serbs in Croatia and Serbs in Bosnia were denied independence and self determination, wtf are you talking about

well they're not supposed to fucking have it now are they, if they want it they can fuck off to Serbia, it's like Mexicans wanting independence and self determination in America.

That is the underlying problem with you, degenerate balkaners.
You would like to deny Serbs the right of self determination, as they would like to deny the Albanians the right of self determination. For no reason, other than "hurr, muh land"
National aspirations must be respected; people may now be dominated and governed only by their own consent. Self determination is not a mere phrase; it is an imperative principle of action.
Woodrow Wilson
I support everyone's self determination, and anyone who supports it selectively is a fucking hypocrite.
When you say, they can fuck off to X, you are promoting ethnic cleansing. And then you turn around and act the victim. As for your example, the Mexicans in the US don't want to go to Mexico, because they fled from Mexico because of drug and gang violence, and because of massive corruption and poverty that result from it. Moreover, the Mexican government wants them to leave, because they'd overthrow it, Mexican elites use the border with the US as it's own political pressure release valve. That's why so many Mexicans are butthurt about Trump. The Mexican elite is horrified at the notion of people that want change, and the Mexicans in the USA are enjoying their freedom and personal enterprise.
You national maniacs disgust me. Not nationalists who simply want their country to succeed, but national maniacs that want other people to suffer.

I have no idea what the fuck your point is but just riddle me this:
how do you feel Serbs in Bosnia were denied their self determination? What is it exactly that the Bosnian government or people did to deny 'Bosnian Serbs' of their self determination?

in order for every of the mentioned countries to realize their hopes of self determination they HAD to split up, and the only ones who were preventing that from happening were.. oh yeah the Serbs.

>On 18 March 1992, all three sides signed the agreement; Alija Izetbegović for the Bosniaks, Radovan Karadžić for the Bosnian Serbs and Mate Boban for the Bosnian Croats.
>On 28 March 1992, after a meeting with US ambassador to Yugoslavia Warren Zimmermann in Sarajevo, Izetbegović withdrew his signature and declared his opposition to any division of Bosnia.
The war could have been avoided, right then and there.

>and declared his opposition to any division of Bosnia.

yeh the war could have ended right then and there with Bosnia being divided lmao

What part of self determination don't you understand?
You seem happy that there was bloodshed.

Why Croatia looks so weird?

mate do you know what the term 'Bosnian Serb' even fucking means?

>having Bosnia divided would mean that the war could be prevented

love this future foresight meme, also what makes you think that Serbia's aspiration for Greater Serbia only stops at Serb majority land, Bosnian concession would only be seen as a sign of weakness and threaten their sovereignity, kind of like how the Serbs themselves not conceded to Austria after the assassination

That's just plain paranoia.

Slobodan Milosevic and Co. were in the wrong when Slovenia wanted to leave.

Tudjman was brought into the wrong when they persisted to argue with Yugoslavian Army and Serbia. Serbia was in the wrong when they started to genocide Muslims in Bosnia.

Izetbegovic was in the wrong when he tried to ambush Serbs after an agreed escort from harms way.

Bulatović was in the wrong when he acted as Serbia's bitch and admitted to getting paid by Italy to stop Serbia's advancement.

Karadžić was in the wrong because Srpska.

Ante Marković is self explanatory, the Yugoslav People's Army are idiots.

Only state in the right was Slovenia Milan Kučan in Slovenia, so a big round of applause for Kučan and the Slovenian people.

Ante Markovic and Radovan Karadzic did nothing wrong.

Is this a joke post?

Karadzic was a victim of circumstance, and a hostage of Milosevic.
Markovic was literally the only person who tried to save the country and was the only one who promoted capitalism and liberalization.

>Karadzic was a victim of circumstance, and a hostage of Milosevic.

Are you Serb?

>Markovic was literally the only person who tried to save the country

Yugoslavia was dead when Croatia and Slovenia wanted to leave. From then on it became the Serbian Empire.
If Belgrade didn't treat their satellites like shit the war wouldn't have happened. I'm not saying it was all Serbia's fault, but they do carry a lot of the blame thanks to Milosevic's Napoleon complex.

There's also nothing redeemable about Kadovan and Markovic I felt was itching for 'his moment' which never came. You can't force people to be a part of some superstate they don't like - that's one way how revolutions happen

>Mexican elites use the border with the US as it's own political pressure release valve.
Found the Razorfist subscriber.

Fuck, should have made it less obvious.

Do you? Bosnian Serbs aren't Serbs who jumped the border and squatted their illegally, they're tied to the land there dating back hundreds of years.

Its cool breh, I've been a fan of his for a long, long time. I always though it was weird that he hopped on the Trump train as he came across to me as a lolbertarian.

Big wrong - Tito for doing fuck all to try and nip the problem in the bud

Any honest libertarian really should have tactically voted Trump.

...

In short, all albanians should be deported from kosovo?
