naturally, I had their book on romans, greeks, egyptians, and a few other things

Nigger those were my childhood

Got shown this in high school AP World History youtu.be/cKXx7fYF8pY burger education everyone.

i didn't know they had a tv show
i remember reading the books. i liked them, pretty good for little kids who just wanted to know the "cool" shit

I'm not British and not a kid but I watched the entire series. Really informative. Probably the only show of this type that is actually informative.

Until the last episode where they showed a modern map of Europe when talking about WWII.

Got the entire boxset for Christmas after bugging my parents. Shit was cash

That how i took interest in history

I had the complete book collection as a kid (still have it somewhere). The television series is too corny.

Lol wtf

I always wanted to fuck the Horrible Histories girl.

Underrated post

>not posting the superior patrician choice

Oh this is the one with the shitty song glorifying New Deal?

Dunno but they have one about Stalin that I was showed as well. It's a sad state of affairs when teachers go on YouTube and let some shitty video teach the kids instead of doing it themeselves.

I like how napoleon is depicted

it please me greatly

singlehandedly taught me history and made me love books

Extremely inaccurate. The French loved Naploléon Empereur de La France

Shut up Lindy

There's like one black person in all of those. And few women in general too.

I see we have an Archimedes among us

OH SHIT NIGGER I REMEMBER THAT

Holy shit, The Time Warp Trio!

My childhood.

Yep, they were bretty gud.

How about this one?

This. This darn thread is getting me sentimental. Very uncomfortable.

Of course, I own all that came out in my cunt

Old but good. Definitely close second.

This is how you were taught?

This is fucking moronic

I unironically enjoy reading them to this day

They were a good intro to history, but limited by focusing mainly on gore. There's a lot of over-simplification and SJW shit - but overall, they were very good. I still own a near-complete set of them, not having the Stone Age one, because I'm not interested in pre-civilization "history" anyway.

/ourbooks/

I only know about the live action ones

Those were the shit when I was younger.
Too bad not all of them were translated into Dutch.

Wow, this is a throwback. These had totally slipped my mind for a long time.
Honestly this is probably the reason for my interest in history
