Wtf I thought these were supposed to be hard to get
Is nothing sacred anymore?

Welcome to 2005. I'll be your guide.

Are you saying they're less valued now? I read that when you apply they take into consideration your state and even county, like they have quotas
I live in Louisiana with a bunch of nogs that can't into credit at all, could this be a reason why they're so lenient?

Heavens no. I know someone that rocks a 500 credit score and somehow has a discover it card with 9000 dollar credit limit. Works at Target and has a newer car from 2013.

He showed me his credit karma and has multiple cards he'd maxed out in collections.

When this type of stuff starts happening, it means banks are handout money. Which means it's 2005 all over again.

no america pls not again

Basically Also remember that they want to make money on you. There could also be some of that in their rational.
Why the heck do you want all these cards anyway?

Max them out in DGB
What else?

I had no credit (in Australia) and HSBC kept offering me platinum CC's

I've had credit in USA for 2 years and my score is 770. That's with 3 credit cards totalling $24,000 available credit and a car lease.

That's all I've ever done.

NFI how people who grew up in this country have anything less than 800 credit

The plat has some perks and looks very premium
I waved the annual fee on both prg and plat and since where I live has boingo internet I now have free internet due to the plat

> anything less than 800

Lecuck Brothers here and today we're going to fuck your shit right up.

> anything less than 800

Cuckold Sam here and today we have a nice collection of lawyer fees and court fees for you. And for desert here is a side of shut the fuck up and pay for your probation or get raped by Tyrone.

> anything less than 800

Services economy here and today we're going to keep you at minimum wagery - with no way out. Higher education? Good luck timmy with those inflated textbook prices. But Sallie Mae has a great loan to get you through gender studies.

> anything less than 800

You sneezed? You'll need to see a specialist for that. You have a basic bitch cough? Oh sorry, your insurance will only cover 0.000001% of the three specialists you had to see. Oh there were only two? Well it says here three. Taking me to court? Good luck, please go up to the Cuckold Sam part and you did sign an arbitration clause when you were in here coughing up bags of dicks that throws away your right to class action. Would you like some Oxy for those stress levels?

I got more senpai if you want em.

I grew up here. I've never had anything negative show up on my report. Mine is like 763 or something. I don't do anything about it though, I don't care, it means nothing to me. I've had the same cc for years on auto-pay.

Fuck, my sides.

>ever being dragged through court
>ever working min-wage and agreeing to a substantial loan
>not just buying fishmox

> Ever being dragged through court

Speeding ticket is $100, court fees is $250. If you get a lawyer, you're looking at $350 or more. That's just speeding. Imagine criminal or family court - good luck tuck.

> Ever agreeing to a substantial loan

Plz do your research on the current student loan crisis. It's bad. It's not even funny at this point.

My student loans are fucking me hard. I should have gone to a city college for 2 years for free then transferred to a university. Now I have to pay twice as much for falling for the college meme.

Yep, you're a god damn retard.

Comparing $$ per credit hour at com college vs university - why don't people do this? It's like they look forward to being in your position

I know some people that are paying between $200-$400 a month for their student loans.
I've always paid tuition in cash. My degree is actually useful I promise Veeky Forums

At least I'm not my friend who has been in college for 7 years because he only passes half his classes every semester.

Why are you friends with such an underachiever?

just keep deferring that shit.

Ill pay it when im in lamboland thanks to my cryptogains; Im not gonna try paying 20k of loans @ 16/hr

Because I don't base my friendships on someone's achievements.

Doesn't interest start accruing after awhile though?

Its pretty low. My actual debt is like 17k and interest is something like 2-3% a year because mine were federal loans.

Lets Just say its like $600 a year. If I defer them for 5 years thats around an extra 3k. Or you could pay 50$ a month, which isnt a lot.

24 now, ill be 30 at the start of 2023. Im on the road to figuring things out now and feel pretty hopeful. By 2023 i'll be worth a lot more than i am now, either in terms of actual financial holdings or how much people will pay me for shit.

Im purposely deferring them because i think its a waste of time/money/effort to pay them off now.

I graduated with about that much debt. Paid it off in the first year. Amazing what can be achieved when working for 5 years earning $200 bi-weekly, then graduating and starting at $1200 bi-weekly, but not changing spending habits.

>tfw paying $350 a month
>no degree

I've been on the edge of suicide for a year now
