The morality of xenoslavery

Let's say humanity becomes a space-faring civilization with faster-than-light travel. If we were to encounter a civilization that is more primitive than ours, perhaps at a caveman stage of existence, would it be morally justified to enslave them in a Columbus-style manner?
Let's assume three different situations:
(i): We know for a fact we are the dominant species in the galaxy
(ii): We know for a fact that we are NOT the dominant species in the galaxy and, in fact, more violent, Columbian-representing empires exist that seek to destroy us for our natural resources
(iii): This is our first contact with another alien species and we are unsure of whether others exist that may or may not be dominant to us

Enslave them all desu

It would seem an incredibly stupid move in almost anu scenario. The possibility of meeting a less advanced species and bot already having everything automated is slim. The only thing another speciws wouldbw good for is starting the very begeining of colony in their solar system. The more logical choices are
>genocide so they can never become a threat
>observation and destruction of any spacecraft so they may never become a threat
>full integration so that their perspectices may help to enrich and broaden the space empire.

I mean, even on an efficiency level it seems like slavery would be a huge investment. We'd become reliant on alien labor, when at that point we'd probably be mechanized, and we'd also risk some alien being smart enough to realize they can sabotage a supply chain or start a slave revolt, which would deprive us of resources I'd imagine we'd need to stop some massive space Columbus

Which of those three options would be most morally acceptable? Genociding them, keeping them contained, our integrating them into our civilization?

Honestly it would most likely be genocide. It sounds cruel but the damagw advanced spacefaring species can do is enormous. It would be in our best interests to ensure no one else gets there. Especially if tech begins to platue. The only reason not would be if it pissed off a current spacefarring species.

>help to enrich and broaden the space empire.
>tfw can't even escape cultural enrichment in literal galactic empires
why live

Well I mean its possible they could think about problems in ways that are impossible for humans to do.

>The only reason not would be if it pissed off a current spacefarring species.

At that point it sort of becomes Pascal's wager, doesn't it?

It could be. But there is a lot of evidence that advanced lif doesnt exist in this galaxy. And also there is a good cjance that they agree with us about genocide and the only reason they havent attacked us is the difficulty of attacking advanced space faring species and the risk of retaliation. We have a little too much info for it to be a Pascals Wager.

The argument for that is a language one though. For concepts to be so thoroughly alien that a mind works differently than ours. Not too complex

>a lot of evidence advanced life doesn't exist in the galaxy
source? all I heard are people talking about how "muh we can't be the only ones out here"

Beasically the are several variations of this argument and that is that an advanced spacefaring civilization should be fairly obvious to see. They would be creating alot of radio waves. They would most likely attempt to create structures that could collect almoat of their stars energy which would be obvious to modern scietist is they were looking at it. Also, a spacefaring species expanding at nonrelatavistic speeds can colonize a galaxy in a relatively short period of time (~ 1 million years)

This does however rely on the assumption that physics we use is not fundamentally wrong.

Well it may be possible that certain issues can be solved easier with another perspective and its much more than language. These things willcbe wired fundamentally differently than us.

Just look at the fermi paradox

>humanists
You need to go back

None of you understand ethics, goodness. Humanists are disgusting.

>This does however rely on the assumption that physics we use is not fundamentally wrong.
Everything we use is absolutely wrong, not just fundamentally.

Well basically our physics has to be so wrong that species cant create energy out of nothing or teleport between dimensions. If we dont take thesr assumptions then there is no point having any, discssion since its all improvable.

>If we dont take thesr assumptions then there is no point having any, discssion since its all improvable.
No, there's just no point having discussion with STEMspergs; ever.

Why the name calling

Because you rape creation and suffocate any attempts to escape it.

This isnt even good trolling

>anything that offends my ideology is trolling
Eat shit, monster.

>enslaving
>not purging for the emperor
