i assume that a future ethereum hard fork will remain PoW instead of shifting to PoS, isn't it possible that it will be more successful than the main ethereum fork?

A fork just means more money for us. Whatever one people like more will maintain whatever price ETH was at before the fork and the other one will have some value as well. At least if the recent Bitcoin fork is any indication.
