struggle, fallen fighters, etc.

Don't forget the yellow for a winning combination

Because of the blood of the workers crushed by monarchism, feudalism and capitalism.

Indeed.

Lots of communist flags use red for the same reason most flags use red, they normally come to power in the form of a revolution, which are bloody, therefore they put the colour of blood on the flag.

Because communist are thirsty for bourgeois blood.

>200 million
Not even a communist but that sounds like an overestimation

It was Marx's fave colour. This is true btw

Capitalism favors workers, gives workers prosperity and freedom. Monarchism doesn't hurt anyone in Japan, the UK, Norway, etc. And communism is even worse than feudalism.

Well considering China tried communism and their tendency towards getting a fuckload of chinks killed whenever there's a power struggle, I could believe such a number.

i guess you prefer this one.

Thinking that that image gives an exaggerated estimation of communist death toll doesn't entail believing a meme chart of capitalism's supposed death toll so no, your guess is wrong.

serious answer, because of the Jacobin.

But they still preach this.

>Fascism

I'm not really sure that every country that isn't explicitly communist means it's capitalist by default.

I'm not following you. What are you saying?

see the victims

something i never have understanded is why its the ecomomic system (communsim) and not the dictatorship and their desire for power etc.

red for love

Comies are against literary every form of government and economic system except their own. There is no healthy convivence with others ideologies in communism because they considered them reactionary and anti revolutionary.

name one example of a socialist economy that didn't have a dictator at the head of the state

Alright lads this has been a delightful thread so far but how about some actual history for a change?

Red flags were first used by Europeans sailing in the Atlantic in the 13th century. It was called the Boucans and symbolized that the ship flying it intended to fight to the death. Through the use of the Boucans by the Normans, the color red became a symbol of popular revolt throughout France.

Fast forward a few centuries and you have the Revolution. The Jacobins, those lefties par excellence, appropriated this popular symbol in their proposed national flag (the tricolor was used instead). To them it did symbolize "the blood of martyrs" and all those they perceived to be unjustly killed by the nobility and the government they supported. Since modern leftism itself stems from the Revolution, pretty much all socialist and communist movements formed in its wake use red in their flags to indicate that their struggles are merely part of the great, long history of class struggle that is leftism. The most famous usage was in the Paris Commune, and from that point on it became the color of communism itself.

damn smallpox was really in demand look how much was sold to the native americans
what an absolute meme of a list

cough cough imperialism cough cough

lol read a book you fucking dingus

clement attlee's post war goverment, best part: they used american money to do it

I know, but I don't see how that relates to my post where I had told the guy he made a wrong supposition. He had guessed that I preferred that image with an alleged capitalism death toll when I had only said I found the death toll attributed to communism in the other image exaggerated. In short, finding the 200 million figure attributed to communism doesn't mean I believe the figures attributed to capitalism in that meme image. I actually believe capitalism is the best system and that communism is a bad system btw, which is why I posted .

Because that power hunger and those dictatorships are based on communist ideology.

>lol read a book
A commutard classic. Fuck arguments amirite?

>Monarchism doesn't hurt anyone in Japan
We'll just forget about the whole WW2 thing

I really like this list, because even with outright lies about what capitalism is, it still only killed 3 times as many people in 500 years as communism did in 80

red stimulates appetite

I said socialist economy not "socialist" policies

Uncle joe disagree with you

Nope

>Extermination of the indigenous Americans
Dem microbourgeois organisms killed all the injuns

Forget the era of their empire's historical peak in size and power? Why?

I don't understand what this edit is supposed to be saying

>it waz only the germs I tellz yah, we wuz good boyz
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genocides_in_history#Americas

>a group of 100 spaniards killed 10 million natives with spears and swords
How did they achieve this?

with the help of thousand of allied tribes.

The natives feared the Wog Warrior

>Judging past times with today moral standards

Everyone was an asshole back times.

>muh smallpox blankets
happened literally once but people pretend it was somehow standard practice of every European state in America

Cough....

This. Ideology means nothing by itself. What matters is unity, cooperation, agreement, competence, implementation, resources, a lack of corruption, and trust.

Without these things all ideologies are doomed to fail. An ideology is just a suggestion of how society should be run. Whether people decide to fling shit or whether they decide to stick to a plan is up to them.

Capitalism speaks of invisible hands and the natural guidance of markets towards success, and to a large extent that is a reasonable way of looking at the world. Introduce global transportation systems, national and local borders, political chess matches, sanctions, embargoes, cheats and liars, a gullible public, and the modern meta-meta-abstraction of financial instruments from quantitative easing to dividends to newcomers like cryptocurrency and what you have is a clusterfuck of an implementation doing the sausage making behind a relatively straightforward ideology.

And I don't think Socialism ever got a chance because wherever it took root it was quickly killed. Then again, a good ideology should be able to survive attacks by those who adhere to a different ideology. What use is an ideology that is doomed to never be implemented correctly?

We all know the true ideology that will rule the planet is the synthesis of Communism and Capitalism currently being practiced by China, which is eroding the United States global hegemony...

they call it...

It's hard to blame communism for that tho, insofar as China has always been a malthusian nightmare that goes str8 up crazy during famines.

Historically red was the color associated with progressivism (classical liberalism, socialism, etc) or rather the anti-monarchists, while blue was the color of the royalists (conservatists).

In the US, the color associations were eventually flipped, because while the Republican Party started out as progressive and the Democratic Party as conservative their positions reversed.

because 99% of the soviet flag is red you fucking idiot

it involve a lot of japanese getting hurt.
