Well I don't know what the earlier user is talking about but you can use GDX which is owned by Coinbase but there's no fees; in fact you can sign up with the same information you used on Coinbase and they'll transfer the balance for no fees as well.

Well I'm talking about no fees as far as the broker.
There's always bitcoin transaction fees because the miners who maintain the blockchain with their computers ask for it. Those however, are unavoidable.

There's a .25% when you actually go and buy the bitcoin, but that still means no transfer fees, and 25 cents on a hundred dollars when you buy the bitcoin is still a significant amount less then coinbase's system, which is basically designed to take advantage of people new to crypto trading.
