I mean of you have no gf or friends why not just get one of these for a fraction of the price and with much better fuel efficiency?

There's the unfortunate +700% chance of getting killed in traffic

Sometimes I like to go from A to B with other people and faster than 50km/h. Also uncomfortable as fuck. Used cars are not that much more expensive but you gotta know what you're buying.

Winter sucks on a scooter.

> if you have no gf or friends
Might as well become a shut-in. Then you don't have to worry about cars AT ALL.

On a side note, if you think cars cost too much then why not just get a 125cc Motorcycle. Shit's extremely fuel efficient.

1 crash = ded, likely
people driving cars don't know bike laws, which could be deadly for you.
If A and B are a short distance apart, using back roads, maybe.
Also, gl getting anywhere with 6in of snow

It might be nice if you enjoy driving, and that feeling. But cars aren't "investments", because unless you buy a classic (in perfect conditions) or a very rare one, you will always lose money.

tldr; Buy if you enjoy cars, but they will always depreciate.

scooters are god-tier urban/suburban transportation, depending on your season
if you decide to buy one, invest into theft prevention and don't buy a shitty restricted 50cc one
they may even draw you into getting a motorcycle down the line

>chance of dieing goes from .0001 to .0007

shaking in my boots lad

Buy oldest possible car, that way it won't depreciate.

get something like this and you will never need to leave it

maintaining an old car and maintaining a scooter/light motorcycle are incomparable in costs

I imagine anyone who drives a scooter has lost at life.

Maybe if you live in a climate where it doesn't rain much or doesn't get cold. But for most people, riding a scooter in bad weather makes it not worth it.

Buy a good used car. Or the cheapest new car possible with 0% financing.

>lost at life
you must be burger, scooters are popular in many parts of europe

This

Im a pussy so i would buy a car

Bitches love riding on those
No better way of getting into city centres

Because, OP, even though I might suck dicks for a living, I will never be this much of a faggot.

I unironically want to get a kei truck
60mpg and can drive in the winter. objectively better than a bike or scooter

These things are all the rage here

Don't get a bike. If you know bike people for long enough you will see some of them get killed and horrible injured. Riding around on a bike is the equivalent of riding around on the hood of a car. I've seen so many people get fucked up on them.

But also, don't buy a vehicle unless you can pay for it in cash. You can get a decent Honda Civic for $4k. If you can't afford that, something is seriously wrong in your life.
