How much do u figure something like this costing?

...

To buy or every time you move?
Probably an extra $50 for mover(s) and slightly larger truck to rent every year until you're settled in a house. That impractical boomer shit pls. Grow some balls, control your woman. you don't need that garbage ever.

$20 at the "another boomer bites the dust" liquidation sale

what is this trickery?

My wife got it for free from her boss, we have no room for it and I wanted to sell it. That's why I'm asking

>id give you 20 bucks max

Kek

it's probably worthless but if you really want to know you should get it appraised by someone who knows their shit

tree fiddy

>wife got extraneous bedroom furniture from her boss
say hi to my kids

?

here is what you do

look at the material, scrape a bit off or burn it a bit to see if its plastic/painted with anythign that contains plastic

if it does its cheap shit

if it doesnt smell like cheap plastic shit you check for imperfections that indicate its handmade, like fucked up details in the carving or hammer marks on nails, etc

if thats a positive, you sell it as handmade for about 200 bucks - a price that indicates you know it has value but that you sell it low because you need to get rid of it

my fucking sides

It is handmade, I think it is oak or something

If you post it a lot of places and the wood isn't shit then maybe 150 or so.

check on ebay what that kind of stuff sells for in your area

post 25% above that price cuz muh quality work

if its all solid wood & hand made, easily a grand. think about it like selling a used jewlry, you know it probably costs way more to buy it than to sell it, just because theres not too many buyers for the used market. so its really up to you to market it properly. i would assume this would've costed 3-5 grand brand new. also remember that solid wood anything cost a fucking fortune nowadays

Would there be a brand on it if it is handmade?

Yep, it's wood.

good question, no idea. but instead of a branding, looks like those carving design would be the closest to a "brand" or a "style"? i cant imagine furnitures having the makers name on it like you see on canvas, but i would think the creators would engrave their own style or twist onto their work that kinda makes it distinguishable even tho it might be a same style of something out there? sorry im really talking out of my asshole here

If original I would say around 1100$

but i just think its worth quiet alot and would've took alot of time for the guy making this, just look at all the extra useless design on the base board looking thing. serves no real purpose but the guy did go extra mile making it look fancy. wood looks abit pale for oak on the inside, maybe its the lighting, could be maple too

makers put their mark on the bottoms of furniture, where you cant see it unless you look for it

it looks like veneer MDF, dont expect too much. wood doesnt bend like those doors do unless its a ply or particle board

Stop selling your mom's furniture to buy buttcoins kid.

It's probably worth more than half the marketcap of all the shitcoins out there.

Are we sure its handmade?

not really but it isnt plastic

Woodworker here.

This piece of furniture looks like trash to be honest. Don't fall for the handmade meme because you could easily buy one of these handmade for about 3.5K from any Polak in the Chicago area (brand new), albeit much bigger too.

I would appraise this at maybe $1000. The reason I wouldn't mark it any higher is because everyone who is willing to spend $1000 on something like this has a bigger TV. You'll be lucky to get $500 for it.

your wife's son can't use it?

I'll give you 10 DGB for it.
