Woodrow Wilson. Yes.

>most hated president in history
that's not George W. Bush. though he was 100x more lovable t b h

Woodrow Wilson. No.

Worst U.S. president was Andrew Johnson. Trurmp is certainly in the bottom ten though (but Reagan is still the worst of the past century)

Obama

Why Reagan?

Bush II.

Mishandled the aids crisis.

What has Trump done other then say dumb shit? Honestly? He hasn't started any wars yet and the economies doing fine. Hate for him is meme. I don''t even like him.

Worst President by far Woodrow Wilson, pushed the US into WW1 for no tangible benefit and entangled the country into a century of expensive intervention. People try to justify it as European debt to the US, but the amount of mutual debt far out-weighed it. The US was not the lender of the world at the time. WW1 was one of the most useless wars in history.

Buchanan, just sat on his hands and watched the country break down into civil war, avoided any problems that came his way and tried to shift as much shit onto the next president as he could to avoid trouble.

>Mishandled the aids crisis.

WTF was Reagan suppose to do? Order fags to use condoms? HIV is technically worst today then it was back then, its just not a death sentence today.

George Washington. He should have just stayed President for life.

>mishandled the aids crisis
Retards just need to stop having unprotected sex

I generally dislike listicles but here's a good start:

In summary, Reagan (or more accurately, his handlers since he was a drooling invalid for about half of his presidency) put a smiling B-list actor face to domestic policies which amounted to an upward distribution of wealth, played a major role in the decline of labor unions, turned a blind eye to deindustrialization, the farm crisis, and the AIDS crisis, protected any tinpot dictatorship or bloodthirsty terrorist group who was sufficiently anti-communist, ramped up mass incarceration (engaging in race-baiting to garner support for it) while his CIA worked with Latin American drug cartels, and had possibly the most corrupt Cabinet in American history.

Forgot to add; became the standard bearer for the evangelical reaction of the 1980s and 1990s. Only now is the "Moral Majority's" influence waning.

haha drumpf XD

FDR, no matter what Trump does he'll be never be able to top allowing Soviets to become strong enough that after WW2 they could become a creditable threat to USA and its interests.
>had a perfect opportunity to have nazis and soviets bleed themselves to death in eastern europe
>instead of using it offers massive support to the soviet that allows them to archive clear victory instead of pyrrhic one that they would had archived on their own without large scale western support

Andrew Jackson. He was a genocidal racist who killed many natives and did more to harm them with the Indian Removal Act. He also sperged out and attacked bankers which ultimately ended up harming the American economy.

>ctrl+f
>Harding
Huh. Just me? Don't get me wrong, he wasn't a malicious or evil man, just hilariously incompetent.

Here's some rankings by historians, since Veeky Forums seems to have pretty stupid and uninformed opinions.

Yeah, that's a good idea, innit, let's just have Stalin take the entirety of Europe, i have no idea how this could possibly backfire.

What the fuck?

The US was absolutely the creditor of the world by the end of WW1. Britain was the creditor in 1914, but by 1918 they had become a net debtor, mostly to the United States.

AIDS is the worst thing you could think of? Not the deregulation which allowed more mergers of businesses, eliminating competition and making banks too big to fail in 2009?

>Truman 5th
Literally why?

He was based. Nuked them Japs.

I don't get the reverence for JFK. He essentially botched an invasion of Cuba, then got shot in the head.

6th greatest president? What am I missing here?

t. Patton

Baby boomers worship Kennedy.

/k/ here. Don't forget the Mulford act as governor of California when armed black men scared the shit out of him, and followed it up with the Hughes amendment in the executive.

Any good books on his cabinet, by the way? Sounds like a good read.

>mfw no American monarchy

Yes because at least the previous presidents only had one scoop of ice cream while Drumpf gets 2 scoops or more! Fuck Ronald Drumpf!

>blumpf shitposting has reached Veeky Forums
Gb2 /v/

Good point Buchanan was awful

Kennedy is a combination of Obama and Lincoln. Obama because he was an overrated faggot who didn't do anything of importance and was only known for being charismatic and holding nice speeches. And Lincoln because he got shot and martyred.

Anything in particular or just nostalgia? I get the public liking him but historians as well surprises me.

Given how much asspain two scoops caused I can't but wonder what would had happened if he had ordered a third one.

More on FDR.
>terrible economic policies
>takes credit for helping us out of the great depression (World War II ended the great depression, not FDR)
>created social security and bank bail outs
>imprisoned American citizens (Japanese internment camps)
>etc.

Yes but WWI was a cultural war- not one of economy. It was the modernizing, liberal West, against the historic, traditional, central powers. America chose the western side purely for economic reasons- none to do with political or cultural.

I'm not saying it was the objectively right thing to do- to let Germany and AH win, but the battle was to be fought between European powers; America shouldn't have a say in the cultural warfare of WWI.

The win of progressive allies set the stage for new, secular doctrines to arise like communism, fascism, and national socialism (which claims to be religious in origin, but in reality is secular could only rise with the fall of religious politics).

In my opinion, Germany should have won The Great War.

Is Obama the Reagan of the Democrats?
Someone who sucked and no one can specify what he did that was so good but they just talk about how "cool" he was?

>The win of progressive allies set the stage for new, secular doctrines to arise like communism, fascism, and national socialism (which claims to be religious in origin, but in reality is secular could only rise with the fall of religious politics).

>tfw you don't live in the kaiserreich timeline

He printed public money. He stood firm during the Cuban Missile Crisis (unlike Obunga). He lowered taxes. He appointed an awesome supreme court justice. His organizations helped the United States beat the Soviet Union in the space war. The military underwent impressive expansion under his term. He furthered the civil rights movement.

In two years.

Oh, but what did he do?

Identical

He caused the Cuban Missile Crisis by a botched invasion. Cuba remained a firm enemy of the US permanently because of his carelessness.

Literally anyone (except for Obama apparently) could have appointed a supreme court justice, so I don't really get your point there.

Surely most of your points from then on are things he might have done, which were actually carried out by Johnson. The tax cuts, the civil rights movement. These are LBJs credits, not his.

Fair point on the space program, and I don't know enough about the military to comment on that but I'm aware of his words on the "missile gap".

Even if everything you said was 100% a credit to JFK, do you think that gets him to #6?

FDR

>not one of economy
Maybe for Europe, America made a lot of money selling supplies and loaning money to both sides. I would argue that the United State is the only country who came out of WW1 better off than they were at the beginning.

ehh... it was awful, but from the social conservative perspective it was a vindication of their beliefs that degeneracy has consequences. not saying thats right or wrong, but clearly people have different perspectives and many probably gloated that gays (not to mention blacks) were dying off in huge numbers. Besides that, it didn't kill that many people if one takes the wider view. To criticize Reagan for mishandling Aids too is retarded and dwarfed by the nationwide effects of his deregulatory and anti-union program

Asspain from who? The guy only said it as a joke during an opening monologue and people have just spouted it off as a meme ever since.

Dick Cheney

Don't kid yourself libbie, CNN literally ran a segment about it

The sad thing is that the weird media mini-shitstorm against Trump unintentionally trying to one-up people while getting ice cream STILL isn't as bad as FOX flipping their lid at Obama fist-bumping his wife, or getting dijon on his burger, or wearing a tan suit.
