Who won the Civil War?
Human dignity and compassion
The Union.
The Confederacy had a Pyrrhic victory until the end of Jim Crow. T. Black Man in the South
That shit was destroyed just like Atlanta under general William 'war criminal' Sherman's khan-like obliteration of Atlanta
North won on the war and the South was left devastated. However, thanks to a backdoor political deal made between the two sides, Reconstruction ended in 1877 when the North withdrew its troops and left the Southerners to their own devices. The Union was restored, though the South, for all intents and purposes, started slavery up once again.
I think we can all agree that it definitely wasn't South Carolina.
I hate Sherman. He was too soft. The March to the Sea was far too humane and merciful if you ask me.
Eh, everyone is shitty and the only difference is who wins and ends up on the right side of history. Look at Nelson Mandela, a prominent terrorist and criminal who went on to lead post-apartheid South Africa. Take a guess which part of his past makes up 100% of discussion about him. Same for everything and everyone else.
The blacks who didnt have to fight.
If we all turn out with a rebel shout the south will rise again
What more could he have done? The South was left in ruins.
The political entity that was still around after it.
America.
It got a huge monkey off our back and allowed us to modernize.
>going from majority black to only a third
they won in the long run desu
wrong pic
union but the south won the peace.
pretty much though i would contend that it still exists in part of the country today.
The south will rise again, the north will raze again.

All the confederate states are part of the union again and slavery was abolished so i'd say the union.
