The United States joins the axis

The United States joins the axis

How does WW2 play out?

Germany joins the Allies
How does WW2 play out?

In both scenarios, the communist filth of an ideology is wiped out from the face of this earth.

Why would the US join the Axis? You have to go back and explain this. You can get a military coup into a fascist-ish dictatorship in the 1930s, but such a state would still likely be friendly towards Britain and hostile towards Japan.

So uh the entire world against Italy and Japan?

>US,URSS,France,Britain,Poland,
China join the axis
>Germany,Italy,Romania,Hungary,Japan joines the allies

What would happen?

Well in the 1920s the US saw an extreme rise of Anti-Communist sentiment, going as far as deporting communists to the Soviet Union.

The US KKK saw its peak membership during the 1920s.

Roosevelt, a very popular president in the United States was endorsed by Mussolini who said of him "He's on of us "

The US was the first to claim that Versailles Treaty was unfair in 1918, and the then President Woodrow Wilson tried to get more favorable terms for Germany.

The US also did not sign Versailles, and instead signed a separate peace with Germany.

Many notable Americans had pro Nazi Leanings, such has Henry Ford, John F Kennedy, Charles Lindberg, Walt Disney. For example, Henry Ford wrote letters to Hitler while in prison, and Hitler reporters considered his correspondence an inspiration. And Kennedy advocated entering the ear on Germany's side.

The United States' white population had a majority German ancestry, and up to 41% of Americans were fluent in German.

Furthermore, the alliances with Britain of the past could be swept under the rug and the US' troubled history with Britain could be highlighted, such as the Revolution, The War of 1812, and British support of the Confederates.

The Japanese and United States had a very good relationship prior to World War II with many Military Officers considering each other friends, and the Japanese calling upon Theodore Roosevelt to negotiate the Russo-Japanese peace treaty. Many Japanese even considered America to be their Big Brother or friendly competitor.
2D thinking gets you nowhere friend

Furthermore, the United States had supported military intervention in China before (See: Boxer Rebellion), also suppression of Chinese communists could have been used as moral justification against China.

Also, anti-Semitism among all Western Nations was still very common and accepted.

>The United States' white population had a majority German ancestry
This has never been true.
Our whites have always had a British majority background.
Maybe in a few little-populated new states you could find majority German heritage, but not for the whole nation.
I won't post the whole thing again, since we've all already seen it.

We all know the answer.
American logistical support alone would have sent the Germans to Moscow.

I agree with most of what you said but
>and up to 41% of Americans were fluent in German.
Do you have a source for this?

It probably for an old study of South Dakota, or something, because it's a load of bullshit.

Not him, but most British-Americans did not consider themselves British anymore, but rather Americans, while Germans were much more likely to hold on to their cultural identity

ITT

Didn't German/Prussians have involvements in the American Revolution? Couldn't that have been used to rally support for Germany against Britain the same way the phrase "Lafayette, we are here!" rallied the idea of repaying a favor to France in world war 1?

Those were Hessians and nah, they fought as mercenaries for the British.

USA invades Canada

I know. But so what? That doesn't make us German.
Also, American culture is an off-shoot of British culture, not German, so they're not even acting German.

soviet union becomes national socialist and nazi germany communist. what happens?

the communists lose

There were quite a few Germans fighting on the side of the Union during the Civil War, and of course the Revolutionaries had von Steuben and initial Prussian support

ussr still wins

Canada gets raped
UK may be fucked

Britain immediately surrenders. Since the US Navy has cut England off from her colonies and foreign supplies. The USA gets Canada minus Quebec. Britain remains sovereign but has to surrender north africa and the middle east to the Italians or Germans, and SEAsia/Pacific holdings to Japan. There is no war in the Pacific. the USA maintains possession of the Philippines and other pacific islands. Japan continues to get oil, steel, etc from the USA. Australia and New Zealand remain neutral. China bogs down the Japanese for decades. American industrial support to Germany fuels their war effort on the eastern front. Soviet leadership seeing that they are all alone, overthrows Stalin and sues for peace. Ceding everything west of the Urals to Germany and some of the far east to Japan. Leaving Siberia and some of the central asia stan region to serve as a buffer state between Germany and Japan.

A new cold war sets in. As the three superpowers, though nominally allies, distrust each other. USA in the Americas, Germany in Europe and MENA, and Japan in Asia and Pacific Islands. The USA still has liberal economics and was untouched by the war. So it grows into the economic juggernaut.

Axis wins, Japan doesn't get MacArthur, anime would never have been invented.
