XVG isn't anonymous, it's a generic shitcoin running through tor.
It anonymizes your internet traffic when talking to other nodes, but that's completely useless on its own.
anonymizing the ip address and blockchain are two very different things.
the second is trivial bitcoin; could do it years ago. second is much harder. xmr does it the best right now
