History of Antifa

I know this is going get derailed by people talking about current events, but can I get a rundown on the history of Antifa?

I'd mostly be interested in the beginnings of it.

Fuck off you literal child

Edgy kids who wants to join an edgelord clubs but thinks that nazis are gay

People who think their anarchists while being some of the spookiest motherfuckers around.

It was created in 1932 by the German Communist Party (KPD) as a sort of militia wing of the party that was responsible for going out and attacking "fascist"

And it should be noted that a fascist to them was anyone who wasnt a communist. This was because in the late 20s, Grigory Zinoviev came up with this idea called "social fascism." This idea stated that any government that wasnt communist was actually fascist, including social democratic parties. So they considered the Social Democratic Party fascist, and therefor targets for attack. This is why Uncle Adolf won as well, since there was no way to unify the left, or even just non fascist against him, since Antifa were being autist and attacking everyone. Trotsky even wrote Ernst Thallman, leader of the KPD, and told him to stop being so autistic, and to simply put a hold on the idea of social fascism, at least for long enough to work with the social democrats to defeat the nazis, and then, just turn on them once they had won. But Thallman was so autistic that he wouldnt budge an inch and just wrote back to Trostsky and basically told him to shut up and accused him of being a fascist saboteur

it should also be noted in that picture that their banners are calling out the Social Democrats as targets, and makes no mention of the nazi party

This is completely wrong, Hitler won because Stalin saw SocDem as a greater evil than the Hitlerism.

thats what I just said user...

I guess you can see where the idea of "social fascism" came from when you think of it in the way that anyone the isn't communist is usually capitalist and anyone who is a capitalist will in reaction to communist strikes and uprising will vote for fascists to in hopes to protect property and keep the peace. So in a sense even if they're not fascists themselves they are still fellow travelers of them in being anti-communists. It's still autistic how Antifa and Zinoviev dealt with it though.

Also it's easy to see why the KDP would see the SocDems as fascist after they called on the Friekorp to take care of Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht.

>wtf are you actually fighting back against our violent attempted overthrow of the government?! FASCIST!

the more you actually talk to commies, the more you realize Pinochet was right

You didn't mention Stalin, only Trotsky.

I was just trying to rationalize why the KDP would feel the way they did after a supposed socialist party uses a "right wing death squad" to remove communist opposition to the government.

>Hitler take power
>Gommunists: REEEEEEEEE
Thats all you need to know

>the more you actually talk to commies, the more you realize Pinochet was right

center-leftist here...totally agree.

Pinochet was a neoliberal puppet.

you've got it backwards
>Sparacists: REEEEEEEEE
>Hitler takes power
>Stalin: Blyat, every socialist revolution outside Russia failed. Lets try this socialist nationalism thing.
>Hitler: REEEEEEEE

you say that like it's a bad thing...

Nope, after Hitler took power, Antifa was banned and suppressed by the SA/SS.

The German Antifa did their thing before Hitler came to power, and obviously they failed. As other posters have mentioned, one of the big reasons they failed is that they targeted the Social Democrats before the actual Fascists, which not only hurt the SPD, but also prevented a coalition between the SPD and KPD that could actually prevent the Nazis from gaining power.

>The first German movement to call itself Antifaschistische Aktion was proclaimed by the German Communist Party (KPD) in their newspaper Rote Fahne in 1932 and held its first rally in Berlin on 10 July 1932, then capital of the Weimar Republic.
Hmm...

Sounds like I got it right to me. Shouldn't have burned down the Reichstag :^)
Hitler had de facto taken power before being made chancellor, user :^)

He really was.

>neoliberal
>good

t. amerilard

>sweet capitalism

> Hitler had de facto taken power before being made chancellor, user :^)

This is the 32 elections, which could have removed Von Papen and set back the Nazis considerably.

Shouldn't have burned down the Reichstag because you didn't like where the country was headed, tovarische!

Great you asked actually, I've got a screencap here for you. Really nasty business those guys.

People who want to be edgy but their bosses won't let them.

Does the filename imply I got it from leddit? Because I didn't

>He's also a full blown socialist
Come the fuck on, not only are you literally posting reddit, this is simply false.

You're autistic. You conspiratard idiots blatantly lie or are so caught up in your own bullshit you start to believe yourselves.

Antifa was not created by Soros nor are Soros or the democrats socialists.

You really fucking believe a rich man and a welfare capitalist party would want the working class to own and run the government and business in the United States? Rich capitalists wanting to create a global economy and flood the country with cheap immigrant labor isn't socialism.

> Implying Reichstag fire wasn't a false flag.

That said, the original German Antifa was pants on head retarded, their actions against the SPD directly helped the Nazis get elected and solidify their power.

Brings to mind a more recent occasion when leftists spent all their energy throwing shit at the center left for "not being left enough" and allowed right wing parties to win the election.
