German-Soviet-Axis talks

I always found this very interesting. There's no doubt that Molotov was very serious about his proposals for the Soviet Union to enter the Axis as a fourth power. If it had happened, there would have been one gigantic alliance from Tokyo to Rome, and with Germany's technology and Russia's huge natural resources/mineral wealth, it would have been virtually unstoppable.

Britain would have had to sue for peace as it would have virtually had no chance in 1941 with both Germany and Russia allied against it.

The question is how tenable would such an ideology have become? Both Germany and Russia wanted to expand. Russia could have expanded to the south and expanded its sphere of influence to Iran and Iraq. Russia could have handed over Baltic states, but as they were aggressively demanding parts of Romania, the Bosphorus, and German withdrawal from Finland, I doubt this would have happened.

But where does this leave Germany? Hitler's political capital rested on him presenting himself as a bulwark against communism, how would that affect his image to his people if he essentially became an ally of the Soviet Union? I think he would have been much stronger but it would have hurt his local political image at home amongst the German populace.

It wouldn't. His whole ideology centered around using Russia as lebensraum. They only allied to by off time while Germany fought France and the UK.

It wasn't so much specifically "Russia" as the "east" that he wanted as lebensraaum. He had Poland, he could have negotiated an alliance with a Russian nation state that still allowed him to colonise eastern territories such as the baltics or parts of Ukraine/Belarus, in exchange for Russia expanding its influence elsewhere.

Nothing in hitlers ideology specifically mandating erasing Russia specifically. In fact he even created a "Russian Liberation Army" with the goal of creating a Russian puppet state in soviet territory after winning the war

Not that unthinkable considering they were already so alike and their partnership from 1939-41 was rather close. But it had to end sooner or later. Both had bigger plans and Europe was too small for them. Now that sounded cheesy but it's true.

His entire ideology is based on "untermensch asiatische hordes in ze east" and we're proud Aryan white warriors that need to put them down and colonise their land using them as slave workers.

Also, Nazis were self-proclaimed enemies of Bolshevism. Which they didn't hide.

And Poland. Both USRR and germany invaded it

Natsoc and bolshevism does not work together.
Natura enemies so to say.
And even if they would have allied, few years and few enemies later they wouldve stomped their heads in.

Poland isn't mentioned in Mein Kampf anywhere. Russia is.

Have you ever seen pictures of the first waves of soviets that entered germany? they actually were savage asiatics from the steppes
Because poland is a geopolitical playball and gets tossed around like a pornstar in a gangbang.

>Because poland is a geopolitical playball and gets tossed around like a pornstar in a gangbang.
There is actually a different reason for this. He saw oportunity in the new state in the east.

>they actually were savage asiatics from the steppes
top kek, go back to /pol/ nigger

tell how they werent.
I had family in Berlin who managed to escape to the west somehow after the first few days of occupation. Theres a reason my racist grandma always spoke of the "yellow danger" and not that bad about russians.
I actually have family or better put had (rip grandma barbara) who were there and told me.
Most of the first waves were asiatic mongols and the like from the steppe.
Theres a reason the mass rape slowed down extremly once actual russian generals arrived with russian battalions.
uneducated faggot.

They look more European than 90% of G*rmans

But they both wanted eastern europe, so there would not have been much room for compromise. Neither Germany nor Soviet Union would have accepted trading influence in eastern Europe for influence in africa or middle east. For both eastern europe was the top priority, so conflict was inevitable.

Also Soviets prepared for an invasion, too, it just got delayed due to Stalins paranoia. Were it not for Stalin and his mass jailing and killing of russian commanders, Soviets might have declared war on Germany in 1940 while they were busy with their french campaign, and then things would have been a lot different.

/pol/ Imao xDDD

They sure do lad.

le eks de xDdD
I hope they raped your grandma tho

Na my grandmas stayed safe thankfully. One grandpa died shielding my grandmas escape tho.
Mothers family was already in the rhineland and my grandpa from that side died in the camp. other one died somewhere around saxony in some woods.

Why are you so mean and agressive to me anyways? got any problems you want to talk about?

You have to remember that the USSR was essentially playing for time since Zhukov informed Stalin that the Red Army wouldn't be ready for war until 1943 at the earliest.

Placating Germany as much as possible while biding their time was Soviet policy pre-June 1941

Wasnt it Timoshenko?

He's right, we experienced them in Hungary too. They were not ethnic Russians.

>There's no doubt that Molotov was very serious about his proposals for the Soviet Union to enter the Axis as a fourth power.
Yes there is.

Soviets always knew they'd have to fight the nazis. They were just desperately trying to buy time.

Desperately? Destruction of Poland, Baltic states and other land grab was an important step in their master plan.

Not sure what you're implying but yes, they were more than happy to fuck over other countries to save themselves.

The real redpill is realising the Germans were the untermensch.

Only Stalin wanted to spread the revolution Barbarossa surprised him. He wasn't some great political visionary who was forced to take over half of Europe because he was scared of Germany. Him and Hitler were in exactly the same situation. They were planning expansion but had to somehow deal with another dictator.

There was a book about ww2 and how it was mainly about 2 confliction ideologies and it went in very deep into the bolshevick jewish leadership or that many of them were jewish. It was written by some famous german historian, cant think of the name.
It got published, he got INSANE amounts of shit from all sides just because he didnt paint it all black and white and evil germans etc pp.

He lost his prof. job at uni and wasnt allowed to speak in public forums anymore.

Thats how far this goes here, you just cant question it even tho theres a lot to it.

Sounds liek a reason why he killed the Trotksy that wanted to do exactly that.
If your """research""" is based on nothing but Jakob Goldblatt´s propaganda, dont be suprised that you loose your job.
