In this thread we post and discuss comfy music that is somehow related to Veeky Forums. Be it religious, or folk music, everything is welcome here, even if it just vaguely brings up a topic that could fit on Veeky Forums.
As I'm the OP I'll start it off with two songs:
youtube.com/watch?v=Cy44ocuoWhE This here is an old swedish medieval ballad about a female troll who tries to bribe a knight into marrying her. If anyone's interested I could translate the lyrics for you.
youtube.com/watch?v=HmJ8_GZRSVY This one I just find immensly beautiful allthough I'm extremely far off from being a muslim. As someone who've always liked religious music I can definately appreciate the awe this message would invoke in a believer.
An example of Japan's Zen buddhist honkyoko practice, bamboo flute music played by wandering monks. I'm uncertain of the exact date of this piece, but the tradition itself originated in the 1300s.
>Sumerian song. That's actually really interesting as I wasn't aware that we'd even been able to cobble back together the sumerian language, not to mention parts of their songs. I'd definitely would love to hear more things like this.
While you live, shine Don't suffer anything at all; Life exists only a short while And time demands its toll.
The oldest full copy of a piece of music we have, telling us to enjoy life and that time is meaningless
Blake Green
More recent than most of what's in this thread, but: youtube.com/watch?v=w0DTBlCB9ko 70s Turkish song about the homesickness often felt by Turks in Germany. I'm not sure how "comfy" it is, it's kind of melancholy. (Click closed captions to see the lyrics' English translations.)

I know a great cure for homesickness: going back to Turkey.
