Yeah, took a 3 month local course years ago on all Adobe tools including Premiere. Recognized some similarities with Vegas and from there started experimenting and looking up online guides.

I embrace it. The biggest barrier between popularity and obscurity comes from pricing vs centering your services on the consumer's needs.
In the early days of torrenting and pirating, the biggest names with the biggest paywalls were the ones attacked first. I know a lot of niche and tiny porn sites that didn't have much stolen from them because they were more affordable.
