Welfare is anti-socialist. There are barely any countries that practice any kind of socialism at all.

Neoliberalism encompasses a wide variety of right-wing ideologies. The Austrian School is much more libertarian than the Chicago School, for example, but both are definitively neoliberal. The average neoliberal supports too many international institutions to really be considered a libertarian, while libertarians think that the whole world will just trade freely with each other without any institutions somehow.

Neoliberalism destrpies countries without an developed industrial infrastructure while enriches countries that do, plus most of the population lives like shit (labor flexibility, low social help) while the rich get disgustingly. Companies getting money doesn't mean normal people do.

Neoliberalism usually refers to a modern day offshoot of laissez-faire capitalism. Ronald Reagan would be considered a neoliberal in this sense.

don't get me wrong socialists tend to be split on this, but no socialist would say "no" to welfare. it IS definite, material gains for the working class. the problem is that most people ONLY want welfare, think welfare is enough to solve capitalism's problems, or that labor movements tend to stop fighting once welfare is won.
