What was Hitlers plan after declaring war on USA?

Like what really did it achieve apart from D-Day.

Operation Drumbeat, it was called the 2nd Happy Times for a reason

Pretty sure hitler was already insane and massively incompetent when he declared war on the United States

>start designing bombers that can reach New York from France
>by the time Messerschmit/Horton/whoever has a functioning prototype, a B-17 flying from Britain has already dropped a nuke on Berlin
>???
>profit

not really december 41 was peak performance with the Wehrmacht knocking on stalins door

1944 is when things went downhill especially with his well being

They were freezing on -40C with angry Siberians chasing them.

that was 42

And that was also December 1941.

It was a gamble by Hitler because he was hoping Japan wood attack Russia from the south and east. Problem is Japan and Russia we're in a war a dozen or so years prior and it didn't turn out great for either side.

Japan wanted no part.
> had he not declared war on America the entire continent of Europe, as well as at least half of Russia and possibly China ( even though Hitler was a socialist he hated communism, communism came from the Jews and communism utterly destroyed Germany, look up and read about how the Jewish communists essentially created a civil war in Germany at the end of World War 1, something that is really never taught but should be just to understand Hitler's hatred for the Jews)

>It was a gamble by Hitler
Erm no, it was just formalizing what was already a reality. From Germany's view, US was a bigger threat to them as a """"neutral"""" than a straightforward enemy because they were openly aiding UK anti-sub missions, supplying munitions and industrial resources, training pilots, repairing British warships, and even providing troops to occupy places like Greenland and Iceland. At least with the DoW Germany can fight back instead of just waiting for US to keep fucking it over and declare war on its own terms.

Hitler was a terrible leader:

* He had no knowledge of grand strategy (pissing off the Americans, Soviet Union and the UK at the same time is not a smart move however you look at it)

* No knowledge of economics whatsoever (Once he got rid of Schacht the German economy went down the drain with massive inflation, shortages, and socialist planning bullshit)

* No knowledge of military tactics either (frequently overruling his brilliant generals during his fits of autism).

He had three strong points in his favour:

* Charismatic orator

* An assertive gambler at a time when most leaders wanted to do just about anything to avoid another Great War, which allowed him to get away with much in the pre-war.

* Blind luck of being the right man at the right place in charge of the greatest military power in continental Europe, with some of the best generals in his generation.

Still, only Stormfags could idolize such a Mugabe-tier ruler.

>No knowledge of military tactics
absolute meme, he talks about not wanting a two sided war, not wanting to invade france during winter or something

youtube.com/watch?v=ClR9tcpKZec

>He had no knowledge of grand strategy
he was probably actually good, he wanted numerous alliances, and wanted things to turn out alot different than they did, i guess he would have done pretty good if it wasn't for the fact he was an extremist threat to the (((world order))) rather than some generic conservative.

If he was, he could have been like Bismarck.

>No knowledge of economics whatsoever
meme again

I, too, read a book once

Antisemitic garbage. How about some real arguments? I don't give a shit about your Youtube videos.

>public speeches
Great source. How much of it was implemented? I'm talking about Nazi economy. I want dates and laws.

>i don't give a shit about first hand sources

This is a public speech. They tend to be full of propaganda and lies.

Maybe from trump or hillary but not really from anyone else

>absolute meme, he talks about not wanting a two sided war, not wanting to invade france during winter or something
Yet his own actions caused a two-front war. Also, no leader wants to invaded in Winter. Doesn't take knowledge of military tactics to know that.

>he was probably actually good, he wanted numerous alliances, and wanted things to turn out alot different than they did, I guess he would have done pretty good if it wasn't for the fact he was an extremist threat to the (((world order))) rather than some generic conservative.
Bullshit and you know it. Stop posting propaganda Videos.

>meme again
He didn't know zilch about Economical Planning. Once he removed Schacht everything went downhill.

Especially from Hitler, you Nazi cretin. Every single speech of his regarding alleged Polish atrocities or him wanting peace was a lie.

>Bullshit and you know it. Stop posting propaganda Videos.

except its not, and i didn't post any videos lel

it is well known he wanted diplomacy with the west and even poland, hosting numerous guest politicians from britain and even the king to have a more friendly relation.

here's some british "propaganda" if thats somehow more worthy

youtube.com/watch?v=yoiOw9kLWbo

Have we seriously gone 24 posts without the actual reason Hitler declared war on the US?

The US was gearing up for a war with Germany anyway, at least by Germany declaring war first it could save some face.

The fact that you mention military tactics as being relevant to the leader of a country shows how little you understand.

So what? His aggressive policy speaks for itself. In 1937 Europeans were still largely sympathetic towards Germany.

>he could have been like Bismarck
In your dreams.

it was the daft poland guarantee which started ww2

see

My mistaker

Hitler's diplomatic successes were only possible because everyone around was too afraid to say anything. Hitler was a gambler. France from 1923 wouldn't allow Germany to rearm or remilitarize Rhineland.

so like i said

>he would have done pretty good if it wasn't for the fact he was an extremist threat to the (((world order))) rather than some generic conservative.

>son wants to marry some noble born cougar
>threatens to kill not son, but himself if he doesn't reconsider
Absolute madman

It was Germany's aggresive action which started WW2.

It was Hitler action that led to the Second world war. The Munich Agreement was his last chance at peace and he fuck that up by annexing the rest of Czechoslovakia. It showed the World that Germany was an Insatiable beast that needed to be put down no matter the cost.

it also showed he wanted peace with poland by giving them rightful polish clay, but he also wanted rightful german clay from poland

its a shame that Józef Piłsudski died

You're a moron brainwashed by neo-Nazi propaganda. What is appeasement? Why this "world order" allowed Germans to rearm, remilitarize Rhineland, annex Austria, annex Sudetenland, destroy Czechoslovakia, annex Klaipeda?

Piłsudski wasn't a friend of Hitler. He proposed an action against Germany after Hitler won.

>neo-Nazi
wrong.

because all those where inherintly german, wanted to be german and even voted to be german

then they should have moved to Germany if they wanted to be part of Germany.

Czechoslovakia wanted to be German? I'm also sure Volga Germans also wanted to be in Germany. And what about Poles living in Germany? And what about Poles in partitioned Poland? This "rightful German clay" was majority Polish! And they wanted to be Poles.

yes

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudeten_German_Party

Yes what?

>Czechoslovakia wanted to be German?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Czechoslovak_parliamentary_election,_1935

>15%
>Czechoslovakia

>No knowledge of economics whatsoever
At the very least, he had absolutely no interest in economics once he had gained power. For a supreme ruler you can't be taking your eyes off of economics when it is the foundation of your society.

>Maybe from trump or hillary but not really from anyone else
Oh my sweet summer child

>it is well known he wanted diplomacy with the west and even poland
lel, in his private correspondence he outlines that he wants Poland to not exist, at best it can exist with no intellectual class as a kind of vassalised husk.

>Germans in the Sudetenland wanted to be German so that means everyone in Czechoslovakia did too
fuck off idiot

>1944 is when things went downhill especially with his well being
1942*

>no leader wants to invaded in Winter
June isn't winter

Traitor.

Traitor to what?

To Czechoslovakia

Can't be a traitor to an illegitimate state.

The nazi's were huge LARPs

But it was.

>start designing bombers that can reach New York from France
dumbest shit ever
they're spotted as soon as they leave French mainland and will be intercepted all the way towards New York by carrier aircraft

>communism came from the Jews and communism utterly destroyed Germany, look up and read about how the Jewish communists essentially created a civil war in Germany at the end of World War 1, something that is really never taught but should be just to understand Hitler's hatred for the Jews)
this meme again
