What would your ideal society be like?

What would your ideal society be like?

Have any in history come close?

Put in short, I think the ideal society is one based on where everyone can selflessly work diligently to improve their state and are willing to go at any cost to do so. A society where everyone works towards a common goal, unified by a ruler who is willing to look after his society and people to collaborate reaching that common goal. People wouldn't need to be told what to do, as they all know what they should do in society from the moment they are born and are driven to do so by the motivation to greaten society rather than obtaining 'things' like money.

The closest replica of this society is similar to the structure of a bee or ant colony. They are a superorganism, and everyone works together to get through their daily lives and get what needs to be done. Every member of the colony knows what they need to do, and even have the luxury of choosing what they want to do based on personal preference.

The problem is this society is destined to fail when applied to ourselves. People aren't willing to work for things and be selfless if it doesn't benefit them in some way, as most people are almost always driven by self-interest. And no, there aren't any societies that I know of in history that has ever come close to replicating this. You could say a monarchy is similar to it, but the rulers often didn't really care about their people, and there is a vast class distinction in monarchies that aren't present in superorganisms.

>What would your ideal society [SIC] be like?

TO ME, THE PERFECT SOCIETY IS ONE CONSTITUTED IN ITS ENTIRETY BY NOBLE PERSONS, ALL OF WHOM ARE PART OF A FOLK, WITH MARTIAL SPIRIT, STRIVING TOWARD FULFILLMENT OF NATIONAL TELOS.

>Have any in history [SIC] come close?

YES —GERMAN THIRD REICH.

Communist society

you used telos wrong

He didn't

>YES —GERMAN THIRD REICH.

>tripniggers

...

Divine king rules world, all men own land and wells and live off of their own labor.

Not yet.

Your perfect society was led by degenerate drug addicts and their "martial spirit" didn't help much when they poked the bear now did it?

What kind of communism?

>The problem is this society is destined to fail when applied to ourselves. People aren't willing to work for things and be selfless if it doesn't benefit them in some way, as most people are almost always driven by self-interest.

I think philosophies like ethics, logic, and life philosophies can go a long way in terms of negating superficial self-interests if taught from a young age. Currently, the vast majority of people aren't exposed to philosophy, and that's a problem.

Teaching comprehensive world history would supplement philosophy as well, taking away the provinciality of our daily lives.

>violence is completely abolished
>disease abolished
>natural death abolished
>global economy
>virtue and excellence in the arts, STEM, and humanities, particularly ethics, are stressed everywhere
>no classes, everyone makes enough to survive and then some
>beliefs primarily based in faith are disregarded by most
>political system isn't full of sophistry and corruption
>very little work on the part of humans is required to live efficiently, unless they want to work

>Forgot to mention, being physically fit is the norm through supplementation or natural hard work.

Nazi Germany was the last hope of Western Europe.

The fact that you reduce German National Socialism to the state of some Eurocentric movement shows that you don't understand National Socialism, nor what the Third Reich was.

high quality education made available to everyone

Comprehensive welfare in exchange for national service, an immigration policy that either excludes foreign people or makes every effort to integrate them into the culture and society, and a non-popular form of democracy. Basically, "real" communism.

Is there anyone who wouldn't want this?

People need some kind of struggle to stay sane, even something as not dying tomorrow.

>implying that if we abolished natural death we could not deal with our own psyche
Surely some kind of new approach to 'kampfing could be developed, be it through fiction or some other way

Yes, there are billions of people that don't want these things either consciously or unconsciously. Just look out your window.

>all white Europe,

>no bombs,

>unemployment and classes destroyed,

>bourgeoisie destroyed,

>jews destroyed,

>blacks only in africa

>all natives are majority in their native lands, australia = 80% aboriginals, american 80% native american etc etc etc, automation is destroyed,

>foreign trading of goods and products made illegal or at least discouraged / taxed heavily,

>everyone can own guns,

>death penalty is used often

>higher education is made free and takes a lot more time but is less compact, essentially you can work or gain a trade while you are in higher education

>buildings return to traditionalist fashion

>art and culture returns to something spiritual and the masses enjoy and understand higher art.

>the growth of china is stunted and they do not become a super power

>ww2 and ww1 never happened

>race mixing is punishable by death

>our leaders have a vision for a form of the people they control

>students learn martial arts at school

>women are not allowed to get jjobs over men

>immigration is highly illegal and punishable by death

>traveling is ok but they must have documentation that they were in said country for under 5 years

>greater emphases put on European traditions such as paganism and symbolism

i suppose Nazi Germany is the closest thing to my vision of utopia

>the growth of china is stunted and they do not become a super power
Why?

because eventually they will become the dominating influence on the world. Global language will eventually be a mixture of English and mandarin

annie best girl

I think we already live in a perfect society, it just needs time, we as a species are still really young.

Liberal Democratic Capitalist Society.

There isn't a better alternative.
Prove me wrong.

USA where New Deal/Great Society liberalism remains the dominant ideology.

>machines produce enough goods for everyone to live comfortably without the necessity of drudgery
>because capitalism is obsolete there is no longer any need to be ruthless in order to get ahead
>people are free to dedicate their time to science, the arts, their families, and whatever else they'd like
>space colonization and climate restoration are the primary motivators for people who want to change the world
