The only good thing that came out of Germany was the Reformation.

>Jews bit off my foreskin at birth

>hitler fixed the economy

What are you implying? That he was not elected?

They did though? If not by giving the Nazis the largest share of seats of any single party, then by voting 90%+ in a 1934 referendum that was basically "give Hitler absolute power y/n?".

I ised to think he was an elected leader but i was reading his wiki page the other day and it said that he became de facto a dictator after enabling the Reichstag Decree.

this is not a properly sourced image

> the holocaust never happened

That isn't how German elections work, the biggest party just gets first dibs on attempting to form government

You two brainlets need to stop watching the History channel and read
He lost the election. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_presidential_election,_1932

He compelled Hindenburg to make him Chancellor and after Reichstag, made the office of chancellor and president the same.

Whatever you say Schlomo

Martien Luth was French, mind you.

HE GOT THE MOST VOTES

Nsdap had. Hitler himself wasn't elected.

>breaking up Christendom was a good idea
Wew, Luther's autism basically stopped any chances of the Ottoman Empire falling for at least 200 more years

Denmark.

NOUS

>Germans unironically elected this

>implying that Christendom was never broken before

He didn't have absolute majority, in 1933 they got 42.6% of the vote. However most other parties in the Reichstag voted for the so called Ermächtigungsgesetz that was brought up by Hitler and allowed him to do basically anything without agreement of the parliament afterwards. So while he wasn't elected directly, he still took power in a mostly democratic process.

>muh ebil Ottomans
>muh Byzantium
>le deus vult
Also
>Implying Cathocucks would help orthodox Byzantium

what a fucking dork

He was in favor of the old traditional parties

It wasn't a referendum, it was a law voted by Parliament.

Technically a minority of Germans voted for Hitler. (The largest minority, that is what we generally call a plurality)

In Parliamentary systems a plurality of votes is enough to form a government if you can get other parties to support you.

Misleading information. Do not try to correct others if you are clueless yourself.

Weimar Germany wasn't a Presidential Republic like the USA, it was a Semi-Presidential system (like France), the power of the President was nit absolute as in the USA, but limited by a Chancellor (akin to a Prime Minister) who ran day-to-day affairs of government, appointed by Parliament.

The Nazis won a plurality of votes in the 1933 election becoming the largest party, with the support of some reactionary Conservatives Hitler was made Chancellor as per the rules of the Constitition, which he then set about to dismantle.

>Kyrgyzstan
what?

The map shows how modern countries' Constitutions describe their systems, not how they work in practice. (Many of these countries are de jure democracies and de facto dictatorships)

shy hitler senpai

Well technically they were the largest party in the Reichstag, so any functioning parliamentary system was predicated on gaining Nazi compliance. Hitler demanded the chancellorship and refused any lower or subordinate rank, so they didn't really have much of a choice
