Norwegian regional coats of arms follow heraldry so well: unique, simple, easily differentiated. None of this over designed and endlessly quartered stuff and yet not logos like Japanese mons.

To correct myself, the eagle with the shield on its own is a coat of arms, the Great Seal of the USA is not.
