Daily reminder that no matter how much you've lost, as long as you remain in crypto, you are going to make it.
Daily reminder that crypto represents the largest transfer of wealth in human history, and it hasn't even started yet. user, you haven't discovered a cheat code. You've discovered the future of the human race. Yes, you are early enough. Yes, you will make it. Yes, you will look back on the pain of your losses and feel real, genuine pride that you made it through.
Daily reminder to look forward, not back. Don't give up, don't opt out. A lot of you haven't known enough goodness to believe it can happen to you. I'm here to tell you that it can. And it will. Your worst mistakes will be nothing more than pebbles strewn along the beach that will be your life. And your children's life. And their children's life, too.
I like this but it feels cheesy and coping with the downturn
I believe its true but seeing it written out just makes me more uncomfortable

>Largest transfer of wealth Let's look at that idea a little closer shall we? Transfer from whom, exactly, to whom? Maybe you think the whales are just lining up to give us broke NEETS their money? Or if it's not the whales that are the source of this wealth, then who? The regular working Joe? So we're going to take what little money they have. Ok.

Whales are just a bunch of obese neet furfags. We're going to bleed them dry.
And as for the normies, they won't get hurt. We're just accumulating gold, before it's recognized as such.

Crypto is a scam (including Bitcoin and Ethereum). Decentralized currency is a meme. Blockchain tech is a step backwards in computing.
Austin Sanchez
Truth. Blockchain has existed since the 70s.
Jace Sullivan
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
No. Please stfu and stop deluding others into believing this anything more than a ponzi scheme.
It's not a transfer of wealth from rich to poor. It's a transfer of wealth from people who get in late to the people who get in early on a coin before it moons, plain and simple.
Banks are already discussing coming out with their own crypto currency. Governments can easily do the same. If that happens your shitcoins will be worth zero.
This is speculative gambling on vaporware. Time it right and you'll be rich, wait too long and you'll have nothing.
Noah Rodriguez
bancor is literally unstoppable
Asher Powell
You're dumb as fuck. What is the point of using a bank or government backed crypto? We already have Visa and cash. Crypto is useful because it is decentralized. A centralized crypto is completely fucking pointless.

Why is decentralized good? Explain?

>Trying to delegitimize reality with memes. Stay young and poor, kid. Many advantages to decentralized currency, dipshit. Can be spent internationally without conversion. Everybody knows the rules and they can't be changed without agreement or hardfork. Centralized currency means a single entity sets the rules and you're stuck with it. Crypto currencies are adopted by choice so the value they have is real rather than forced. Less fees to transact. Easily secrecy. Smart contracts. You can transact business with anybody you want anywhere you want anytime you want without anybody looking over your shoulder or being able to stop you. And on and on and on and on and on. Fuck yourself. And when you're doing that, ask Venezuelans about the marvels of central banking and fiat currency and their opinion on crypto. Then fuck yourself again.

What should I buy to git rich
XRP/Ripple looks interesting but I don't know what the fuck I'm doing lmao

lol you sound like a fucking retard. Everything you stated simply benefits the individual and completely fucks over the social environment that supports the individual.
And really, how often are you spending money "internationally"? You live in a basement and subsist on a diet of hotpockets. KYS.
Also, you know nothing about Venezuela. Their issue isn't central banking, it's that their entire economy is based on oil and oil prices were manipulated to destroy them. KYS again.
Gabriel Edwards
look into low circulating / max supply coins with a low marketcap.
youll do fine.

>Can be spent internationally without conversion.
Needs to be converted to Fiat. Crypto has zero value outside of exchanges, just like Casino chips and arcade tokens.
>Everybody knows the rules and they can't be changed without agreement or hardfork. Centralized currency means a single entity sets the rules and you're stuck with it.
The average coiner has no say in crypto. All the rules are made by a small number of powerful people, just like with centralized currency.
>Crypto currencies are adopted by choice so the value they have is real rather than forced.
People want to make money with it, not use it as currency.
>And when you're doing that, ask Venezuelans about the marvels of central banking and fiat currency and their opinion on crypto.
They're only using crypto to make money. They're not using it to store value.
Connor Morales
Do you need a credit card to buy coins or can you buy them with paypal ?
Daniel Nelson
You chucklefucks just have an irrational hatred of crypto. You don't have to try to convince yourself by couching it in strawman arguments. Your irrational hatred and fear for what you don't understand is obvious. You asked for why decentralized currency is better and I gave you a few reasons off the top of my head (there are many more) and instead of being intellectually honest and accepting that, you try to move the goalposts like you're in third grade debate class. Lol. Stay poor and mad nocoiners.

That doesn't disprove what he said. I paid a girl in another country .1 btc just to send me nudes because I was bored and she was hot. Do you know how long it would take me to do that with fiat? I'd be lucky to transfer it in under a day. And then she'd have to wait a longass time to make sure I couldn't charge back.

Anybody who legitimately thinks grassroots decentralized currencies and fringe idealists who invest in them > literally every powerful institution on the world needs to pause for thought. It's only a matter of time until our current coins are worthless and we are paying for shit with Fiat backed digital JpmMorganNatobucks

The world is full of secret clubs doing secret things for either their personal gain or ideological doctrines. Most people remain completely unaware of it, but as we are talking a financial war is being fought behind the curtains of the political/financial theatre.
A long story short, it's between those who strive for centralization (aka NWO), and those in favor of decentralization (Nationalists). Criminal elements are involved in both factions and the game is getting nastier by the day.
After decades, the white house has become throne to the nationalist faction again. Expect a lot more decentralization in every way imaginable.
Dont stare yourselves blind on names or shallow definitions such as "nationalist" or "globalist" tho... it doesnt even begin to cover whats going on.
OP is right. Hold. For the love of God... hold. You are literally involved in a wealth transfer. By holding crypto's, you are effectively taking away the power held by just a few banking families.
It is far from over.
Btw, hi OP. Stay strong.
Nathan Cook
Is someone in Australia going to be running JPMorganCoin nodes? I think big corporations will attempt to make their own crypto but they will be unable to leave them properly decentralized. Either way I'm not concerned, because I could easily just invest in the corporate coins when they come out.
Nicholas Roberts
Human energy is what lies at the foundation of ALL wealth. If a human decides to add value to whatever he or she deems it to be worth, it will be so. Money and crypto's included.
Break the conditioning. It's part of the process.
Samuel Fisher
You're the kind of person who believed five years ago that BTC was a joke that would never be worth more than $5 (unless you only just discovered crypto three weeks ago, which is also likely), and you're the type of person who will be wrong about absolutely everything about this five years from now too.
It's OK, you don't get it. Stay poor, airhead.
Carson Hughes
Actually only bitcoin matters, retard.
Eth is a premined centralized scamcoin shilled-into-orbit
Robert Gray
I've bought in recently. I think there is room to make money in the short term. The long term prospects are pretty fuzzy. For crypto to continue to grow as it has been in the past five years you need a massive shakeup in the global financial system and geopolitical structure. Nation-states and a few large banks will crush a legitimate threat to their financial structures.
There are some serious obstacles.
Julian Nguyen
That entirely depends on who runs the nation-state. Who holds the political power.
Robert Russell
I disagree that you need a global catastrophe for crypto to continue growing. I think simple adoption is more than enough to continue the growth that we've seen. There are only 17m BTC wallets and most people have quite a few.
Joshua Wilson
Historically control freaks find power. Ideologues are killed off.
Ryder Howard
Or they can profit from it, use it.
Oliver Scott
There won't be large scale adoption of BTC due to its highly unstable price. Governments would be issuing their own crypto instead.
Lincoln Lewis
On the contrary my friend. The hegelian dialectic is what fueled the great historical events. There are historical facts (the thesis and antithesis) and there are the historical truths (the synthesis). From alexander the great and the Khans to the french revolution... all happened in the name of one particular ideology. Without it, mankind would have known perpetual peace for thousands of years now.
Kevin Nelson
The highly unstable price is a result of relatively few people using it. A government crypto will have the same volatility with whales manipulating prices for fun. If anything it might attract more whales due to hedge funds perceiving it as safer to hold btc.
Evan Reyes
safer to hold than btc*
William Wilson

Gemini is a good combination of user friendly and low fees. Also it's run by the Winklevoss twins so it's relatively reliable.

I'm gonna sound like a retard but I don't "get" crypto. What do all the smaller coins do? Like the stuff that isn't bitcoin. How does it have value?
Is it just how much people pay for it, even though it isn't really worth anything?
Am I over thinking this entirely?

Most of them have zero actual use, just some potential. The stuff we say about the white paper or the use cases is just a little game we play with ourselves and to give an excuse for buying them. The only reason to buy them is in the hope that someone else will think he can game more money out of it than you can, and you sell it to him. If you do it right you walk off with bitcoin and he ends up holding the bag.
