Dropping out of College - For real estate

My friend and I are tired of following the path everyone else is choosing. We've decided to drop out at the end of this semester and begin our grind.

We're looking for a JOB that pays decent, as we're motivated AF to work many hours and passion towards money.

If anybody knows some jobs (Yes, i'm willing to travel anywhere in the US to make more money) that would be awesome and I'll take each recommendation seriously.
( My friend and I do make side money flipping cars, repairs, simple jobs, online stuff , ect to make side cash)

Also, if anyone else on Veeky Forums has left school and became successful it would be awesome to hear your story, we love being motivated by other people's success and always take in what others have done.

Sounds like you would do well in Sales or Recruitment - both of which pay lucratively. You sound like you have no talent or skill so I'd look at the first two options.

Yeah ok so you get a job with your high school diploma, then what? How do you plan to make money from then

Thanks for the advice, yeah I dont have much experience in alot of fields, but at my job , I could easily set up schedules (for workers) if needed, Priced items ( was trusted with papers), I was in charge of going out and buying items, ect more. I was thinking a manger spot in a store as well if I got extremely lucky enough.

Thanks again for your post user!

Well my friend and I will be in this together, we've been close friends for years and agree we both want to do this. We're stuck in School because our parents can't see past it and think it's the only good thing in life.

Anyways, if we can make 50-60k from both of us, and still live at home with our parents, then we could essentially together make 140k after expensives.

We're not stupid and we don't go out spending our money, we've learned to Meal prep, resell, ect.

And, when we finally purchase our first home (our dream) we will live in a room and rent out the rest.

Sorry, I meant to say 140k after 2 years of working ( Just a salary job) not with the side money we make.

If you want to bullshit your way into pharma pretty much all of North Carolina is starving for technical people right now. Also, bullshitting is basically the only way to in2 pharma.

both of you take a shitty oil job pays out the ass. share the cheapest apartment and budget accordingly. after rent 20% into a vangaurd or schwabb account for stocks, 20% into savings for future house purchase goal, 60% into crypto.

You'd be better off getting an office position that offers tuition reimbursement or negotiating tuition reimbursement and then taking online classes from your home state so you can get finish a degree scholarships and make a profit on finishing a higher degree.

You will be able to increase your future earning just by saying "I gots an associates in XXX" even more when you say "I got an bachelors in XXX" it just increases your negotiating clout and earning options. 401K matching in a salary position will help you too.

What state are you and frend based out of Dave?

My friend and I were going for networking / programming as well. Being a "nerd" and playing games all day at a young age, I learned a lot about Computers.

Although I'm no where ready to be programming things , I could def be able to set up computers for a business. (Full deal, and I can do it solo)

Thanks for the reply, and yes I did actually just tell him couple hours ago before he left to his shit job that we could Grind at an OIL job (and so far his parents are down with his plan and agreed he could live in the house, waiting confirmation from my parents)

and although I'd love to get into crypto, I don't know anything about it (I'm really motivated to learn it though).

We both currently live in Connecticut, but like I mentioned I'm down to travel anywhere.

(Even if my job and house are located 2 different places, we've driven many hours and don't mind it. Would be better if I did not have to waste money on gas/ flight , but if it makes me more money then so be it)

Pharma uses automation technicians. While they don't set up correctly.puters typically. They do support the ongoing routine usage of systems operating on remote servers like Delta v, or manufacturer-provided turnkey plc systems including HMI (getinge/fedegari) stuff .. usually troubleshooting and resetting passwords. Also mild network support although those are usually taken up by it people in bigger companies. Smaller ones one group would do both.

Correctly.puters>computers

Damn autocorrect

Why not just do youtube like me and live of off views?

Realistically coding bootcamp for 3 months and go to NYC. You wont regret it.

Yeah, all though I don't know much I bet if I look around I can learn alot, thanks for the response I'll def take a look into it. I also know some people NC as well so maybe I find a cheap place to live ect.

Lol, the amount of times I wanted to make vlogs ect, I understand youtube, and playing Video games on games like Minecraft, csgo ect, I understand servers.

The thoughts of making a youtube/servers has came into my head recently, and well I came across some old Friends that stayed in the server field, and I'm getting a server up and running soon ( with free advertisement )

What do you mean? Pharmacy technicians?

Well, i'll be back in 2-3 hours as I mentioned I'm still in school till the end of the semester, so I'll be back later, thanks again to everyone that gave me suggests ^^

Shit bro lets collab it up, I already have mad viewers and if you can provide anything this might be your big break! Contact me on youtube, Ive already made money with this bitch.

If at all possible get the shitty oil job and find a motel or cheapest living arrangements possible so that you can walk in order to commute. If you can't into crypto then just get a vangaurd account and put as much as half (50%) of your income not budgeted towards requirements of life ie food rent utilities. Open both a ROTH IRA and a regular IRA with vanguard and fill the annual upper limit for the roth every year (its a max of like 40K a year or something) so budget automatic withdrawals from your bank into it. Any thing left after hitting the upper limit on the ROTH put into the general and buy mutual funds whenever you have enough to buy in the 1k or 3k lower limit chunks. Oil money should provide enough to hit those yearly upper caps.

The rest of the income the other half of the after budget necessities money should be split so both of you can dump into a savings for the long term house goal. The final bit will be for higher risk investments you gotta research that on your own.

What are your ages? Look at the nearest oil opportunities for unskilled labor if you're willing but the aim should be to find some sort of education incentive at a position to garner more skills for your "hire me" toolkit.

lmao sub 1k views. nah is coo tho hit me up lets talk about crypto

Since you guys are into repairing cars you're probably not total pussies.

Learn how to do construction-related shit, framing, drywalling, painting, demolition, etc. It requires no certificates or formal education and is quick to learn. If need be, take a job working for someone else (restoration company, drywall crew, painting crew, general labor on construction site, etc.) and learn as much as you can over 6-12 months.

Then you take your knowledge and start your own small business, you and your buddy walk onto a construction site (bring your hardhat/reflective vest with you) and talk to foreman, say you're a small startup company (can lie and say you have a crew of 4-5 but it's just you 2 for that day) and ask if there's any space for a new drywall crew. Most likely if they get a good vibe from you they'll either put you to work right away after negotiating the square footage price and/or hourly rates, or recommend you to another nearby jobsite.

Essentially what me, my brother, and my best friend did about 7 years ago. Turned it into a big business, at the peak we had 30 employees out working for us, taking a cut off every single one. I was making ~$150k/year without leaving my home, although I did tend to go work myself since I enjoyed it and liked to keep an eye on stuff.

Anyway something like that is very easy for motivated young men who are somewhat rugged and not afraid to get their hands dirty. Not recommended if you're a basement dweller neckbeard type you'll have a bad time on construction sites, but you don't sound like that.

join the discord brahhh... theres a reason I made it.

I you want 1 on 1 talk that costs money as you can see I make money off of youtube doing that.

I never went to college. I started a cleanout/demolition business four years ago and it's been steadily growing since. I now have two dump trucks and four dumpsters with a trailer. I make a lot of side money selling items from the cleanouts, you wouldn't believe what people pay me to take away.

Scott?
