Is College debt the next bubble?

Is College debt the next bubble?

Everythings a bubble right now

Thanks fiat currency

Yes.

Especially if everyone does like me and refuses to pay.

Among many. We're actually heading towards several. Which one hits first is up for debate, but when one pops it will start a snowball effect that makes the 2008 crash look like a mild breeze.

Grab your ankles and hold on tight kids, the next decade is going in dry.

>muh everythings a bubble
Name 5 industry's that do this.

Its not the currency, its monetary policy. Always robbing Peter to pay Paul. Its ludicrous and it all started with the creation of the Federal Reserve.

College debt can't be forgiven. If anything the market for big scary debt collectors will boom soon.

Auto
Retail
Real Estate

Someone come up with 2 more.

Stocks
Bonds
Crypto

DELETE THIS

Gov pays my interest payments and I defer paying my student loans indefinitely. My plan is to pay it off when BTC hits 25k per in 3 years

How do you accomplish this?

>its a bond bubble

The difference between crypto and other bubbles is that it's not based on debt. Auto, Real Estate, Student Loans are all debt based bubbles. All it takes is an interest rate to pop. what pops crypto?

they can escape the country

lie

that's where you're wrong friend. the milennials are taking over and they are completely reckless and irresponsible. i think there is a good chance all that shit gets forgiven by some socialist act that gets passed. just waiting on the boomers to die off.

then it's universal basic income baby.

is fiat the mark of the beast you think?

then the USA becomes Brazil'd

No and yes. College debt is a bubble to a normal person, it's a boom to the government.

Look, if you have a Fed backed loan, you can't bankrupt it, and if you haven't paid it off by the time you start collecting social security, they'll take almost all of your social security away. Remember, the government has the ability to do things business can't and it will do those things to protect itself. Sadly, we'll need government to protect against things like fraud and force, but we also have to be aware of bullshit like that.

More like thanks feminism.

If the marxists hadn't infiltrated the workforce and colleges thru useful idiot females the standard of living would be much higher and more satisfying for both sexes. But try explaining that to a typical FEMALE like the dumb bitch who said Dr. Seuss is racist because the first lady donated cat in the hat books to the school she is employed at.

I'd say contagion but I could be wrong. For all I know crypto will be the only thing to decouple during the next crisis, at least until governments intervene to shut it down.

If crypto decoupled and trillions started pouring into it during a crash, it would likely become untouchable. Really fun thing to think about.

If you have student loan debt you are doing it wrong. Just putting that out there.

You do understand that's not always true, and social security being siphoned by student loans is a multi-billion dollar market currently, right?

>what pops crypto?

When people cash out because they need money. This in turn causes panic selling that snowballs into a giant crash.

it's 100% true, it's actually a law obama signed

Isn't there a tax bill when it's forgiven? If you were forgiven 300,000 you would owe about 120,000 to the IRS.

Awe do you deserve free education for your underwater basket weaving degree, my dear?

yep, also true. but the irs can't jail you if you can't pay that. you'll get put on another payment plan, lien, etc. Not the worst thing in the world, actually the worst part about that big of a loan is not being able to get a loan for a house, which is keeping many people renters and will eventually lead to a collapse in both the student loan bubble and housing bubble in coastal cities where the educated flock to

I posted this topic 2 months ago. Newer generations paying for education they don't get. Furthermore, without that for which they paid for, they won't make money to pay for the debt. Where will production go? China? Wait…

More like if you didn't take on the students loans and then dump it into crypto and paid back everything when you graduated, keeping your sick gains to yourself, you're doing it wrong.
