The annual staking reward is 10%. So you can expect to make 50 ODN per year. You get 20 at a time so you'll get a reward 2.5 times per year.

Not really. You have a chance to stake each block, this chance is calculated based on your holdings. It's still chance based though.
For instance, I have 33k (1day estimated stake time) and just went 4 days without anything then staked 2 in a day. Over enough time it will average to the expected time.
