and that's why it works...imagine if you have a room filled with 10 people, and 9 of those people are trading an asset based on TA, and this market is limited to only the 10 people in this room. you are the 10th person. the actions of the 10 people in the room determine the price of the asset. if the other 9 people are using TA then that will be reflected in the price of the asset.
now widen this example to the whole world filled with millions of people trading assets every day.
TA works because it's programmed into bots and algos. If you don't want to use it, fine, but it is a tool that exists and that is factually in practice.
Just pull up ANY chart for ANY asset and you can see for yourself that whenever the price dips below SMA and EMA, it was a good buy point, and whenever the price was above SMA and EMA, it was a good sell point.
