adidas ultraboosts if ur willing to shell out 180. they're Veeky Forums approved too

I have some and can confirm they're the hands down most comfortable shoe I've ever worn

I'm currently try out some mizuno hitogami 2s and so far they've been my favorite running shoe. Before these I was pretty hard into the minimalist scene.

Woops I have the 1s

...

ritsu is best keion

NMDs, puma Carson's if you don't wanna spend money,
New balances and basics are god tier
No roshes ever

Those are ugly as shit

...

I've been loyal to the Mizuno wave riders for years because they feel the most natural on my feet and I ran my first marathon in them. I just got the new ones in the all black colorway and they're great.

Brooks makes a great running shoe, especially for those with bad ankles.

Anything with the adidas boost foam in them

Top of the market, but pricier

Just go to an actual running shoe store that carries several different brands. They will look at your feet, look at your current shoes, may even watch you run a bit, and recommend a good shoe for you. There are different kinds of running shoes and the one that's best for me may not be the best one for you.

Marathon runner here. This user is right - what may be a good shoe may be terribly uncomfortable for you, depending on your running gait (over pronator, under pronator) arch type (flat feet, high arches) and foot width.

I'm a neutral runner with flat feet, so I like Brooks and New Balance, but use Superfeet green insoles. Also, get a good pair of insoles - it makes all the difference.

do I need special shoes if I have high arches or can I just put insoles in a pair? im broke af.

Here you go pal.

I overpronate, so I grabbed a pair of Nike Lunarglides. Haven't gotten to test them yet though.

Just go barefoot

Don't get into running then

I want to run though

Just realized that was the wrong tab.

Try this one; the shoe advisor.

>running
>having no gains

Pick both

Sawako > Mio > Azusa > Mugi > Ritsu > Yui

My dad got a promo pair of Cloudtecs and gave them to me.

Holy shit, I thought they were just a gimmick, but I can run nearly twice as long with these thing. they wear out after 200 miles though.

the most comfortable ones for you

Literally this.
Been running in a pair of cheap lightweight trainers for a couple years now, they fit just right and they are broken in for me. Can't do better in anything else.

>mfw the soles and falling apart and I need new shoes.

This is my kind of nigger right here

I'm 23yo and I had 5 pairs of shoes since I was 10, not even that poor

Shoe goo, my man.
Got an extra 2 years out of some montrails with it.

I'm super happy with my NIKE FLEX RUN's. They're also affordable: about 85 euros (older generation).

But Veeky Forums is right about the running store: it's best to get your feet tested!

Well, it's not just the heel. The insole is very loose now and the sides of the insides are frayed, thus causing blisters. But weirdly the pain goes from horrible to nothing every week or so.

Roshes are anke snap tier
>no ankle support
>slippy insoles
>no foot support what so ever
>shitty cushioning
the only thing the work for is a treadmill because if you go around a corner too fast you are going to fucking die

New Balance makes good running shoes just don't wear them out walking because you'll look autistic

You know how I know you're a nigger? Because you buy running shoes not to run in, but to look cool in.

Nobody is going to see your shoes of you're actually running. Don't wear them walking if they're so ugly

Who /minimalist/ here? For the past year I have been wearing brooks ghost 8s... pretty good tall sole though... Before that I work merell bare access.

I've started wearing the merells again... what do you think of minimalist shoes?

I'm in the army and they even make minimalist boots. Thinking about snagging a pair for garrison and light field work/rucking.

Some SF medics on profesionalsoldiers.com expressed how their knees and backs are pretty.fucked up from their oine of work .. they said going minimalist has vastly improved their performance... dudes cover hundreds of miles of distance too.

>yui that low

I'll fucking fight you nigger
