I've tried it and I think the effects you get are temporary. The dangerous thing about jelqing is becoming impatient for gainz and overdoing it and that is where I think you can really snap yer shit up.

there's a lot of evidence to take it slowly - all the "veterans" on pegym stress that all the time, you have to condition yourself and work up to the more advanced exercises.

the only evidence to stop is the occasional story of someone who got injured, in some cases pretty severe to the point of being impotent. I haven't come across that much, though - it's at a rate of occurrence where it could easily be the people who don't listen to advice and rush into it.
