Started at 150lbs in January > 165lbs currently.
Posture gains 5'10 > 5'11
OHP 1pl8 x 5
Bench 2pl8 x 5
No squat or diddly area in my gym, so I just use various machines to supplement.
I've been eating a 300kcal surplus, but cheated on weekends.

Planning on cutting for a month to lose some fat, guessing I put on 8-10lbs of lean mass and 5-6lbs of fat.

Routine is PPLxPPL

My chest is lacking big time. I dunno if I store more fat in this area or if the lack of chest isolation resulted in a lack of growth. I think bench is meme lift. I'm doing flies and other chest isolation's now. Only chest compound is weighted dips. which I did for the first time this week. I was able to go up to 75lbs for 10 reps last week, this week I got up to 80lbs + BW x 10. Chest pump was great. I'm cutting bench from my routine.

pretty sure they are like around 208 but leaner than I was at 196, they prob got like 15lbs of muscle on me. and they are like 6'2 and I'm on the taller side of 6'3.

First time in life I've done something more or less consistently and it had results. Feels good.

Weight lifting 3x times a week, cardio 3x times a week, alternating days. About 750 average calorie defecit.

For the first time in forever, managed to do a pullup last week. On Saturday did three pullups.

haven't done any specific routine the whole time but full body 3 times a week is probably the closest. A lot of focus on 5x5 progression.

not sure who can gain around 40-50lbs of muscle in 2 years. I'm not particularly hard working or on point with diet though, my best trait is I rarely miss a workout. I've missed maybe 10 workouts in 5 years.

5lbs/month is pretty good, maybe go for a bit less to minimize muscle loss.

barely visable if not inspected really close. they fade over time. the ones on thighs are slightly visible when wearing shorts and stuff but those on hips are pretty much gone

I started at 6'2" 148 lbs, now after a year I weight 180, I gained a bit of fat too but I feel I don't have enough muscle to cut.

Can't tell from the pics but assuming you were 15% BF before, worked out and ate consistently for 12mo you should've gained 20 - 24 lbs muscle, leaving u ~150lbs lean mass, ~17% bodyfat.

If you eat at maintenance, high protein, and continue lifting consistently I think you can lose some BF and gain a little more muscle simultaneously. Might be slightly less efficient than just continued bulk though.

Just made this for someone I'm training who was feeling discouraged because they screwed up and let themselves get way out of shape, ballooned 40lbs. Everyone falls off for some reason somewhere along the way. Life happens, injury, jobs, etc. Sort it out and come back with more fire and dedication than before.

how did you get rid of them? I got some stretch mark lotion from walmart to get rid of some i've been developing around my armpits and on my legs

according to what ive been reading here and there you cant really do anything about it. they will show less and less over time.

First pic is from 5 years ago, second about 2 years after first decent bulk, and current on summer cut.

I mean come on, considering those numbers I probably agree with here, you lifts are pathetic for a guy who's done it for 4 years and your body would probably be much more massive if you'd have more advanced numbers

There is no magic routine, just eat, lift sleep, if you want to go really invest yourself get fatter and then cut, you will have that body in 2 years (assuming your lifts are progressing well, unlike OP's who doesn't lift that much)

You should work on your chest and traps before you really cut, you won't have any mass there

I did'nt train legs for a long time because I used to rock climb and wanted to keep my bodyweight down but after a while I decided to let go of that idea.

I just don't gain strength easily, weight comes on but my numbers just don't go up at the same pace. The good thing for me is I virtually lose no strength on my cuts. a 5% reduction at most.
