There is one upper/lower split TM model in PP where you first do deadlift intensity and then volume squat and vice versa, but that sounds even more brutal

This was my last real deadlift day. Did it after heavy squats and it really felt heavy

sounds pretty horrible. Been thinking about changing up my routine actually, since I've been on TM for 2 years now.

Looking at 5/3/1 but I'm not sure how I'd program cleans and front squats, two of my favorite lifts. Any ideas? I also have some reservations since I generally respond better to mid range volume with mid-heavy weights, i.e. TM

Put them as accessory lifts after main lifts

Cleans after squats and fsquats after deads or reverse whatever you want to do. Program them how you like. You can do like 5x5 then 5x3 then 5x2 add weight and repeat

My advice is to deadlift. Deadlift your deadlift. Deadlift is the only workout I do really when I'm in my lifting season.
