Manlet gains

Sup Veeky Forums. As a 5'8" manlet, is it possible for me to hit 1/2/3/4 plate without roids?

Any other manlets make it?

I weigh 67kg currently (up from 62kg from 1month ago). I can only JUST bench 1 pl8 for 2 reps.

Am I ever going to make it??

Are you fucking kidding me?

You're got to be a serious pussy to take a Veeky Forums meme this far -- to the point of creating imaginary barriers for yourself.

No, you will not hit 1/2/3/4.

Actually shorter people have better leverages for lifting. Shorter people can also recover from slightly more work, because strictly speaking they don't move the weight as far (which means that they're actually doing less volume even if it's the same on paper).

The downside is that you do have less total muscle than a taller person (all other things being equal).

Depending on how much muscle you can manage to build, you can absolute be able to lift really heavy shit. A 75 kg lean manlet will outlift a 75 kg lean lanklet every time. But of course the lanklet will eventually be able to build more total muscle in the long run, given that he is simply a bigger person (again, all other things being equal).

To answer your questions directly, EVERYBODY in the whole World unless they suffer from some crazy disease, can hit 1/2/3/4. Some people might take many years to get there, but it's definitely possible.
I've done it, and I'm pretty much the least athletic person on the face of the Earth. Took a while though.

Stop being a faggot, i'm 5'5 and i've made it that far

im 5'8 too. quit your bitching

natty?

thanks brah

yes... gains also look a lot better on manlets since they're concentrated.

got 105kg bench for the full 3x5 today, 5'8, 80kg (would probably be 75ish when lean)
can also do 1pl8 ohpx5

can't do 3/4 though, not even for 1rep :(

I'm currently 5'8 70kg, how long did it take you to get from 70 to 80?

Think I should be near some semblance of 1/2/3/4 by the end of the calendar year desu.

It's easier for manlets.

I'm 5'11 and have a lanky 6'6 faggot friend and his bench involves significantly more range of motion. I progress at about twice the rate he does.

i was like 73 and my bench was stalling hard, can't remember what it was, maybe 90?
decided i needed to commit to my first bulk, gained it much too fast imo, maybe 3 months- helped me pass some hurdles though

or do you mean how long it took my bench to go from 70-80?

Nah I meant weight, I'm like 15% now and feeling fucking small and weak, started at like 60kg a year ago.

Also my arms are 13" which is what I get for neglecting tris I suppose.

tris will help you lockout on both ohp and bench

i do weighted dips

Your never going to make it

Your only purpose in life is to be murdered by the manlet slayer

>be 5"6
>start at barely being able to do 115 on bench
>just did 2pl8

you gonna make it.

keep lifting and eating big but healthy.

what's this monster's name?

wow nice

Not that guy, but I weigh about the same as OP and I'm the same height as . I've almost reached 3pl8 squat. Low bar squat 1RM is 140kg and high bar 135kg.

If you're not a powerlifter don't obsess with numbers. Try not to hurt yourself while training, get stronger, bigger and try to put on as much muscle as possible. And more importantly - don't obsess about your height. There's nothing you can do and you shouldn't be ashamed or miserable.

Natty, 5'9 hit all of those after a year. I weigh in at 78 kg now. Keep eating mang and get a good progressive program. Dont stop believing, manlets have quicker gains than tall dudes.

...

It then begs the question (for a lanklet like me):

How long does it take for a tallfag (like 6'4 and up) to reach 1/2/3/4?

Manlets can squat 3pl8s so easily and they look like shit too. Like it's an entry level lift for them.

I struggle with 1.5pl8 goddamn.

I think I'll only reach it after like 6 years. No reason to stop though. One of my life goals is to join 1000lbs club. First for 1/2/3/4 then without OHP.

It feels so far away, especially with all the non-lifting injuries I get.

I'm 6'5", took me about a year. It's slow progress since we have so much more space to fill

Its only the 6,8ft, 320lbs, Guardian of Olympus, Slayer of the short and the DYEL, Martyn Ford.

jesus christ this guy looks like some sci fi villain's cyborg guardian

>Got hold of legit HGH when I was 17/18 from pharmacy.

>Cycled for two months

>Me and my doc got caught because of a stupid mistake

>doc got a warning from board, told not to do it again

I was this close to getting out of manlet zone lads, this was 3 years ago. Who knows, maybe it was too late anyway at 17/18.

Forever 5'7 (172) here.

At least I tried lads

HGH doesn't make you taller dumbfuck. It only makes you reach your genetic maximum height quicker.

HGH causes growth when receptors send out the signal, which causes growth in the bones.

Sex hormones (test /est) do the same but opposite, they slowly seal the bone.

In the US doctors Can hand out HGH for idiopathic short stature, which is kids simply being short.

What a fucking monster

My friend is 6`4
Overhead press 60kg x5
Bench 110kg x 1
Deadlift 200kg x 1
Squat 120kg x 5

Took him years, but bare in mind that he started out auswitz mode and didn't go for lifting by the numbers just kinda played it by ear. I think he could've gotten where he is much faster with a more structured approach.
