Bulk or cut or what the fuck

Been working out for over a year. Been doing it with a serious routine for like 4 months. I feel like I've been spinning my wheels and not much has happened. I've read the sticky but what do I need to do? I want to put on some muscle but I don't need to get huge, I just want to get good aesthetics desu.

Tell me what to do Veeky Forums. My own plan hasn't been working. Tell me what lifts to do, how often, what to eat, and I will do it, and I will return at the end of the summer to report.

Bulk.
you want to get aesthetics so focus on hypertrophy, isolate muscles, arms must be one of your best features, then abs then chest
do arms, chest, rest, back, arms while eating at least 300 calories more than you're eating

Don't listen to this summerfag right here

Read the sticky and do a full body routine like SS or similar beginner programs...
Eat a lot and you willl be a sick cunt by next summer

Uh, okay, thanks. Well you're both saying bulk. How do I deal with the skinnyfat shit I have going on? Even the areas where I've built a little muscle feel soft and squishy.

how tall are you, how much do you weigh?

how old are you? what's your social security number? what was your mother's maiden name?

EAT ffs

Jesus

you're not skinnyfat dude, you are probably at 12-14%bf, just the right amount of fat to look good while doing a slow bulk and lifting heavy ass weights, if you cut right now you will go full auschwitz, you don't have the right amount of muscle to look good at 10%bf

stop being insecure and browsing this fucking shithole of a board

I'm 151 lbs. 5'11". Weak as can be. Max bench like 155. Max dead around 180. Squat around the same. And seriously can't OHP shit. I bike a decent amount now that the weather's better as far as misc cardio goes.

Just feels like I'm a much higher bf. I eat decent but cheat a lot with sugar and other bad shit. I guess I'll try and clean bulk as best as I can

Clean bulk. Make sure you count your calories. Find a macro calculator. Meal prep if you need to, take out 5 hours on sunday to cut up veggies/precook some meat. totally worth it

btw op, as far as chicks are concerned, you have pretty good aesthetics already. loads of girls dig the swimmer look. don't let the insecure fuckers on this board convince you otherwise, and you'll see what i mean

yep im same height as him and 20lbs lighter, full skelly mode hoping to reach his weight in two months

>just made a 1600 calorie shake for lunch

Age? It has a lot to do with getting bigger when I was 18-20 it took forever for me to gain mass but once I turned 21-22 I gained 40lb now I'm 245 15% bf I was 140 when I was 18.

Clean bulk is hard as fuck for a beginner

Thanks, any good guides for doing it? And do I eat the same macros on rest days? Or cardio days?

Thanks user. You think I shouldn't bulk a ton then? Ive got an okay face, but my hairline is pulling shit on me, and my skin is shit too.

Sorry, I'm 25.

drinking most calories and eating many smalller portions (instead of eating 3x/day) makes it easier.

he wants you to go full trex mode, work your upperbody hard and legs just for aesthetic purposes

and here.

I use macronutrientcalculator.com/
Hit the red button 'Help me find out blabla..." to find out how many calories you need, approximately.

As far as Macros are concerned, I just do the same everyday. I used to cycle but I found it a bit annoying.

There is no bulking a ton for you. It would take you more than a years' worth of clean bulking to start looking 'too ripped'. Don't you dare use my 'pretty good' comment as an excuse not to push yourself. Because if you do push yourself, you'll reach heights of well-being you've never experienced before.

>1st family reunion in about 5-6 years
>everyone giving me compliments and asking if I've been working out

Sounds good. And I won't. I'm here because I'm not satisfied with where I am and I want to change that. Should I be doing like AxBxCXx?

>been working out over a year
Bulk you dyel shit

you don't eat enough

Got it. Soon I will be a big guy.

put more food into your mouth, thats the actual important part

your lifts do nothing without the diet behind it

Hi

I'm in the same boat as OP, aesthetics wise.
I've decided to bulk up from the start three weeks ago, 2700-2800 calories a day as confirmed by macronutrientcalculator.com. I want to avoid wasting any time so I'd like for somebody to comment on my results.

I started at 163.2 pounds 15.8% bodyfat, am now at 164 pounds with 14.8% bodyfat. I use a (high quality) sale at home to measure bodyfat, but it is quite consistent from day to day. Weight however is always a pound up or down.

Accoding to the math i lost 1.5 lbs of fat, and gained 2.3 pounds of muscle over the past three weeks. Additionally, strength gains are real but those could be noob gains as i understand it.

Should I adapt my diet or keep going on this course ?

n.b. I eat clean and 30/20/50 macro split.

184cm tall / 6.0ft if at all important
