Essentially if you're under 5'10, you need to avoid exercises that put width on you (EXCEPT SHOULDERS) because it gives you the illusion that you're a stump. Wide shoulders, muscular but not /wingmode/ lats, and muscular, athletic legs. You could be 5'10 but if you have huge quads and a barn yard dorian yates door back then you're gonna look 5'5.
