Don't pick an actual weakness, but pick something that may derail your focus or something and explain concrete steps you've taken to have basically already fixed the problem.

It's important to show that whatever it is about you that isn't so strong is something that you are aware of and actively seeking to compensate for by surrounding yourself with the right people and processes to keep you on mission.

If you give some vague answer and they ask for an example and you start stumbling over your words trying to make something up...you look like a damn bafoon

"Brutally honest" people are usually just assholes with no social grace. Most of the time people who describe themselves this way just like insulting people to their face. Being direct and clear in your language and attitude is what you really want. Don't be a dick unless you have fuck you money and even then why bother

That's a hard one. Well if I was had to give one weakness it'd be that I check an app called blockfolio 400 times an hour 18 hours a day.

I‘m incredibly lazy and I hate moving around, I also hate telephones or sitting 8 hours a day in a smelly room with a bunch of other people, I smoke marijuana daily and I constantly forget faces, names or what to do, I love browsing anonymous racist imageboards 16 hours a day and I stop working on my tasks to check blockfolio if I can finally leave this wagecuck shithole, also i‘m very into schadenfreude and if the business loses money while I still get paid I literally perform a small dance upon hearing the news.
I also like to take long toilet breaks together with my phone and my charger.

My go to answer (and I don't know if it's a good one or not) is that I get stuck on details. If something isn't working or has a difficult problem I need to focus on that to figure out why. Even if the wisest choice would be to put it down for a while and move on to something else.

it's basically a checklist for the correct reponse which is always "I'm so good at being good that I forget how good I am and mess up but I'm good anyways cause... I'm good."

This is very good. Give them a real weakness, but a common one, so that you don't stand out. Make your weaknesses blend in and your strengths stand out. So if the job you're applying for doesn't revolve around communication, you can always say something about bad verbal or written communication skills, and since you basically refute it with the good communication skills you present, you can move on.
