Looks elvish

Not only is the script beautiful but the country is too.

Can't go wrong with any of the caucus languages really

I am not familiar with any of the other 'caucus languages' care to share an example?

Google Russian cursive.

>Russian cursive.
wtf. you lied to me. this is shit.

wat

Does this look good to you?

*spews*

...

>Can't go wrong with any of the caucus languages really

What did he mean by this?

...

variant of brahmi script?

...

...

Japanese. It has squiggly lines and little houses that make it look cute.

Weeb here. I think Japanese calligraphy is breathtaking, but normal handwriting doesn't compete. I think Chinese handwriting is easily my favorite script.

Arabic

Chinese is better than japanese

Stop stealing our culture and language you round ear mortal fuck.

Hebrew

I think secretary hand looks pretty and I wish I knew how to write it.

hol' up

Ge'ez is cool as fuck

Aramaic without a doubt

...

It's important to specify traditional characters.
Simplified makes me skin crawl.
ROC>PRC

I don't think Tolkien ever said what his direct inspiration was, but the guy loved languages so it could be from literally anywhere.

Dat papyri tho

>Norse Runes (I like the latinized medieval runes personally, but staveless is cool too)
>traditional Chinese characters
>Mongolian

These are more fonts but I enjoy old Irish and old fashioned gothic German too

Coptic derived some letters from Demotic Egyptian so there's a mix of Greek with hieroglyph derived letters. The early New Testament papyri used the staurogram for the word stauros which is translated as cross but more accurately means stake. It looks like a symbol for a person on a cross but it's said to be derived from the first two letters of the Greek word.

Fraktur is really nice

Georgia sure is beautiful, ain't she?

Old Nubian in addition to Coptic and Greek letters also has a few derived from Meroitic writing.

Armenian is absolutly beautiful and was made by the same guy who made Georgian, Mesrop Mashtoc

>this coming from a half-elf
No wonder Celebrian sailed West.

Hebrew is an ugly language and it should have stayed dead.

Translation:
My name is Sasoon. I am in Lebanon. My handwriting is very ugly because I don't write in Armenian a lot. I live in Beirut. I don't know what else to write.

Wikipedia says the Nazis declared them to be Judenlettern.

Well, Sasoon, I think your script is lovely.

Mind you my handwriting looks like Lucida had a baby with Rockwell.

I'm not trying to be mean, but Japanese not only borrow Kanji from Chinese, their Kana("squiggly lines and little houses") are also derived from Chinese calligraphy, mainly 草書 (cursive script).

...

...

Have you seen an Arab doctor writting cursive?

Georgian and Armenian are both fucking aesthetic, Georgian maybe a bit more.

Too bad, people say georgian is really difficult to learn

It's the language of Mordor in Elvish script

I'd say Georgian and Armenian are the most aesthetic

Actually I'd put Greek before Armenian

German Kurrentschrift

Good choice

Insular script and other uncials are also great

so are the people!

Why is all of this writing so beautiful and yet my writing and most of the writing you see is shitty
