Dark hair and eyes isn't super common here though, it's more common in the west but even then it's a minority and it's a phenotype rather than being ubiquitous.

In my family I'm pale and light haired/eyed but my brother is dark skinned and eyed, but share facial features. This happens in most of NW Europe. The Scandi equivalent are epicanthic folds and other Eurasian features that sometimes show up.
