I got into a conversation with my 4 straight male coworkers after one of them made a joke that gay people should have to pay a tax to support straight people with kids. It turned into a philosophical conversation where we determined that although I get paid less (I'm the newest in the office), I make more after accounting for raising kids. Two of the guys I work with are parents, the other two plan on being parents.
I'm a gay man with few expenses, no debt, no kids. I pitched the idea of paying a "gay tax" to the 4, keeping with the joke. The idea is that it should even things out a bit and make having a kid less of a burden oon the paycheck.
They at first said that it's my money and not to pay them. But as we talked, the attitude changed to, "if you want to pay us we won't say no." We decided that I could afford 16% of each paycheck, gross. There are 4 of them so they each get 4%.
They seem to range from agreeing with me that it's a burden having a kid and sucks that I take home more at the end of the day to thinking that it's my money and they'll happily take a cut.
If you were in my office, what would your take on it be. Would you take it or refuse it? Do you think I should be paying it to even things out or do you think I am being too accommodating?

That's retarded because you don't get any kids. Like if you were blind so you didn't watch TV would you give other people money for their TVs? WTF
Samuel Edwards
This has to be larp or you're brain injured
Yes, maybe it would be better for fags to pay for people with children so they can raise them better (money dosent raise kids though, it hells but dosent change a thing with shit parents)
Do NOT give your well earned money to others over a philosophical chit chat, please That's like the cuckiest thing I've read in my life, and I browse Veeky Forums

Fuck me I really hope this is a joke. If not, do not pay them one fucking cent and keep sucking as much dick as you want.

Gays shouldn't have to pay more taxes but you should not have the right to marraige (which is basically a glorified tax break crafted to incite you to make kids and give to society the next generation of taxpayers).
That's all there is to say on the question.

Thank you for the replies. The deal is set and the first payment made. I'm just curious. Because i work with them, the conversation id's pretty polite. People on Veeky Forums just say what they think.

If we lived in a healthy society gay people would be subjected to worse things than paying a tax.
But we're in 2017 where people's actions don't really matter anymore, and technology will subsume all by the time the people here are 50 years old.
Given the fact that any kid you even had in this year wont even get to see anything akin to an adulthood, don't worry about it. Keep your money and enjoy the few pseudo-normal decades that are left.
But make no mistake in a technologically stagnant world I would totally support this. You're mentally ill. You literally are psychologically incapable of reproduction, the most fundamental urge of biological organisms. Your pathological psychology must not be encouraged by social promotion.

Thank you for your insight. I don't entirely agree but I'm paying the tax all the same.
