Wtf is this made up garbage?
paranoid-black sabbath
Metal is boring and juvenile, music in general is a waste of time
Huh. Looks like they photoshopped black around the buttcheeks to make them look rounder and more shapely.
Death - Symbolic
Carcass - heartwork

First band is the band my band tried to ape when I was a teenager. Whitechapel is amazing, others will concur. Black Dhalia is one of the best metal bands ever. That's not an opinion.
*tips*
Kalmah
Fleshgod Apocalypse
Obscura
Borknagar
Enslaved
You have awful taste and you should kill yourself.

I haven't seen them yet but I plan to. I hear they're great live. Lamb of God is still my favorite live band, but that's partially because they love to play in my city so much so they always bring it.

The youtube account that uploaded that album you just posted is the same one that posts most of the curl up and die shit thats on youtube. I like most of the stuff on that channel. We probably have very similar taste. Converge, Weekend Nachos, Nails, Botch, etc...
I only posted three bands. I didn't want to post Fornicator or Whore or some other grindcore shit that 99% of everyone wouldn't like. What's your beef with? Whitechapel or Dahlia? Feel free to explain why they suck and I'll be happy to listen.
Oh boi
How's middle school?
I don't though. I feel pretty good about it. Sorry that I upset you. I hope that we can still be friends.
Meshuggah.
>8-17minute songs
>chuggachuggachugulugulugachugchug riffzz
>Heavy enough to inspire POWAHLYFTAN
>Fast enough for Cardio/HIIT
>Repetitive enough that songs blend together and you can set & forget it on your phone for ~2hours
>Complex polyrhythms if you're into autistic shit and keeping 11/4 time while you jumprope

Boi just listen to Bleed for liftin then the sped up version for cardio... Literally the only song you will ever need... And Stengah...
>whitechapel
i overdosed on breakdowns like 6 years ago
>black dahlia
hate the fans mostly, also just dislike their aesthetic
I'm not super into grindcore really, more of a thrash/sludge/stoner metal guy
Also
Meshuggah: youtube.com
and
Enslaved: youtube.com
who /powermetal/ here?
>lift to deafheaven
>start my set when the music is appropriate
>always end up having a rest during the intermission
>the intermission usually ends right before my next set
always feels good when it syncs up, especially on last sets
Here, whatchu recommend user
>breakdowns
I like deathcore. I get why others don't, but I do. I like pretty much all kinds of metal. And if you're going to recommend a deathcore band I'd go with whitechapel over emmure or suicide silence any day
>aesthetic
Fat nerdy guys? Or did they adopt a gimmick while I wasn't paying attention? Honestly I respect that they don't feel the need to look the part.
>Thou
Nice. I particularly like their covers.

>tfw hit 155 for 5 ohp to this

Deathcore just sounds lazy imo.
There are some good bands that kinda fall into the category but for the most part its just shitty breakdowns, downtuned djenting, shitty gutturals and an over all lack of talent.
Plus almost all of them are emo twink DYELs, death metal musicians are mostly big guys and "in shape" people. plus have you seen how big those dudes necks are?
Kek. Who's necks?
George Fishers and Corey Taylors, windmills are great for neck gains
>Corey Todd Taylor (born December 8, 1973) is an American musician, author, and actor best known as the lead singer and lyricist of the heavy metal band Slipknot and hard rock/alternative metal band Stone Sour.
>Taylor was also found, by VVN Music, to possess the second-highest vocal range of any known singer in popular music with a range of 5 and a half octaves. He was beaten only by Mike Patton (6 octaves).
Wot
Necks is, eh, what you might call a "closer" for my gang, see? Necks McGinty we calls him.
Which sped up version?
"Whose" doesn't even look like a real word to me.
ive been listening to a lot of falconer, check that out. cains offering, angra, stratovarius, sonata arctica, nightwish, are all also great
>nightwish
Yuck!
i dont like a lot of their stuff, but they have some good albums
Scar Symmetry and Sol.45
Seriously give em a try.
Mike Patton wins again
Solution.45*
I grew up mostly on hip hop and now mostly listen to electronic but have always liked beast heavy metal riffs/breakdowns. Fav album coming through
>tfw you realize you share a board with teenagers
Everyone killyourselves except for this guy
Amon Amarth

As a fan mostly of electronic, I love The Algorithm's blend of metal and electronic.
On that note, for pure electronic, Bassnectar is great lifting music. If you're a metal head, check out his song Boomerang or his remix of Prince by Deftones
...
In Flames - The Jester Race
Meshuggah - Chaosphere and obZen
Gojira - all of it
Isis - Celestial
In Flames was good up to and including Reroute to Remain, Meshuggah was good up to and including obZen, and Isis was always good, but those are the albums that I think are the best for lifting.
Mostly listen to slow but heavy af stuff when lifting, get me alot more pumped than fast stuff.
Electric Wizard
Bongripper
Weedeater
Eyehategod
Buzzoven to name a few
Although not exclusively metal, RATM gets me pretty hyped up
Dad rock is as credible and nuanced as any contemporary music. If you hate dad rock it's probably cause your dad played Led Zeppelin III in the car while molesting your confounded, possibly bound, body in the backseat.
I just randomly pick thrash and death albums I enjoy
Meshuggah's Catch 33 is god tier stuff, for lifting and cardio.
Recently discovered Soulfallen and Cryptic Wintermoon, both great stuff.
Haven't seen this posted yet
You don't get more "metal" than this:

My nigra. They will return is just too much test
I genuinely enjoy this bad and their sound.
Lyrics don't really matter when it's growled so I focus on guitar work which is amazing.
Melodeath:
Disarmonia mundi
Soilwork
In Flames
Also try:
Textures
TesseracT
Animals as leaders
Raised fist
Mechina
Ob shot i havent listened to eyehategod in fucking ages, thanks for reminding me
EHG are fucking awesome.
I wish I'd actually gotten to see them the one time they played here.

fuck all your jewtube link faggotry, just list bands you like. So i can shit on your preferences
It's not a band. It's a cartoon.
>shitting on someone else's preferences
>listening to dad metal
>metal raises your cortisol
Maybe if you're somebody's grandmother. Metal is fun.
Cartoon that released a couple of albums.
I don't really care about semantics.
Parkway Drive
In Flames
Older BMTH albums
Slipknot
Gojira
Trivium
As I Lay Dying
Metal is for FA incels
>music in general is a waste of time
I'm so sorry you feel that way
It's just so fucking corny. How are you not embarrassed to admit you like a fake cartoon band? And all three of the songs you posted are dethklok. One song wasn't enough to get the message across?Like you're a turbo autist who's just so hyped to share this dorky ass shit with us like we're all going to be like "wow user! That's some cool stuff! I need to check this out!"
I'm not usually one to criticize. And I'm not criticizing the "band" really. I'm criticizing you. You strike me as a legitimate autism case. Good luck with that.
Well, that's your appraisal user.
I just picked 3 songs that I think sound really good.
And I don't care if it's from cartoon or from Uranus.
Still want to learn this shit:

It's music, regardless for what purpose it was written and played.

I respect your calm reaction. I might have misjudged you.
