One DECADE later and they still haven't solved basic problems like "How do I buy a 1$ ice-cream without paying double the price and having it melt in my hand while I wait for confirmation?"

Awesome repost, friend. Upvoted.
Have an upvote, my good sir. Hats off to you.
Great question, upvoted.
Solve it yourself user, become the next big thing.
b-but second layer
I'm not smart enough to solve it. But I'm also not stupid enough to be emotionally invested in computer code and ignore fundamental problems
Forks, spoons, chopstick.
salty Bcrasher
segwit is at 10% implementation
bcrash fees are HIGHER than the REAL bitcoin's fees right now on average
when segwit wallets are mass adopted by exchanges, 10 cent fees.
and you DONT need to wait for formination you stupid fucking brainlet, you cannot "cancel" a btc transaction. this is the ENTIRE fucking point. It KILLS the double spending problem, which CURRENT credit cards have. confirmation is just when it gets pushed through the network.
no user, you're just too fucking stupid to understand how bitcoin works. "confirmation" is NOT what your tiny little brain thinks it is
What is XRP.
DGB does all that.
you need ice cream coin for that
I know, like when i buy ice cream with my credit card and have to wait 48 hours for the charge to not be "pending" to eat it.
You can pay 0.01 in fee but wait an hour for confirmation
Or pay 1 in fee and wait 10 minutes
>10 cent fees
So basically we're slapping 20% or higher tax on a big part of the economy. Sounds great.
>you cannot "cancel" a btc transaction
lmao this retard.
>The solution is already out there and proven to work but nobody cares because everyone is retarded
no. XRP and DGB show promise, but nobody know if it actually works
The difference is that credit cards aren't decentralized retard. If there's a problem the credit card company can rectify it afterwards. And they do exactly that every single day, that's why people trust pending transactions.
obviously neither are acceptable
>how will this metal contraption ever fly?
I sent my last 100k DGB to poloniex today to sell and it got all the confirmations in less than 2 mins and Polo showed it received and ready to use in less than 4 minutes. It works.
>but nobody knows if it actually work
Federal Reserve has tested ripple networks
Ripple systems are being used today in banks
Heck go transfer some ripple, it will take less than a minute.
1. The first plane wasn't made of metal you retard
2. In the first 10 years of airplanes they went from barely leaving the ground at running pace to a 10 man crewed war machine faster than any car.
3. see (You)
>2 mins
That's exactly the problem retard
They don't use end to end crypto. They use an adaption of the code together with traditional systems and FIAT money. They have no intention to replace FIAT.
>it will take less than a minute.
That's still too long dummy, also way to expensive if you want that speed
Cryptocurrency was never meant to be useful. Solving transaction problems was just the facade for its real purpose of using world computation to compile a compendium of hashes.
In ten years ice cream will be $100 because inflation you dumb fucking nigger.
>OP right now
Are you literally so retarded that you believe everyone was living in mansions and driving luxury cars 50 years ago because "HURR DURR DA NUBMBER ON DE BILLS WAS LOWER"
gold, silver and bonze coins
y need the same crypto for savings\big purchases asfor cheap shit?
fundamentals of utility are different in each scenario
solid security vs quick transaction, no need for only one tool
Why would you mint coins out of something valuable?
Even if you allow multiple cryptos, there still isn't any that solves any of the problems. So I don't understand why you think that was worth typing.
Secondly, we have one currency that does everything now, going back to having several is stupid and not progress.
>thinking you can cancel bitcoin transactions
LMAO
fucking dumb nigger doesn't understand bitcoin
They won't replace fiat yes, but XRP is mainly used a liquidity asset to eliminate 'nostro' accounts. XRP is a payments settlement bridge currency, though it can also be used as a standalone currency as well.
>>it will take less than a minute.
Faster than any credit/debit purchase, which merchants still have to wait for. The confirmation is just hidden and taken in good faith.
I literally just canceled a transaction retard. A better offer appeared just after i accepted a sell offer on ETHdelta, so I emptied my wallet with a higher gas transaction before the sell confirmed.
You admit yourself that you know even less about bitcoin than a "fucking dumb nigger". That's pathetic.
Exactly, and the OP is about buying an icecream. Not the internal transfer protocols in a bank. So your point is irrelevant.
>The confirmation is just hidden and taken in good faith.
Which you can't do with crypto. see
