Do you need to lift heavy to get big?

Do you need to lift heavy to get big?

Define "big".

How else can one get big?

Not necessarily
but, like, high rep routines suck, past 8 it's like "I stopped counting past here in grade 3"

EAT BIG

> high rep routines suck
I like them, i do 15-20reps

Re-roll.

this is why you're dyel as fuck, 15-20 is something you might do after everything else for some blood flow, it wont build shit for muscle, the intensity is way too low.

TO GET BIG

To get as big as Arnold? Obviously. To get as big as zyzz? Not so much.

15-20 rep range is fine. what matters is the volume.

Recent result suggests you can achieve the same result with the right intensity doing high rep

Brosience hunch: i'm fairly sure the time span you let the muscle rest plays a big role too. A big weight-low rep routine with huge intervals will be shittier than an intense low weight-high rep routine with short intervals

Explains why you don't need progressive overload to get swole.

Tfw you can just do 1000 push ups in a row w/ 0 rest or curl a 5 lb dumbbell 9000 times super quickly w/o rest to get huge biceps

ty for the advice senpai

C'MON

WHATEVER IT TAKES,

FOUR

Jeff seid plays around with baby weights, same as most pros who are actually monstrous.

Most IBFF pros do like 50lbs dumbbell curls when they're not on video trying to sell shit.

SCOOPS

YOU

PUSSY

No, you just need to roid big and eat big. 4 SCOOPS I DON'T WANT TO HEAR LESS

No. General rule of thumb is 1-5 reps is strength training. 8-12 is hypertrophy.

It keeps getting lower on every post
Next thing you know, 1 rep is strength and everything else redundant
