Can anyone recognize exactly what this is
Can anyone recognize exactly what this is
it's a philange
Looks like a phylactery. I'd be careful with that if I were you.
What do you mean
I mean dont put it up your ass
What the hell I found this whole box with stuff that belonged to my grandfather and great grandfather and that was in there
whatever you do
don't put it up the ol' pooper
tfw you realize you're a jew
I thought it was something that my great grandfather got during World War 2 since he served
maybe he confiscated it from one of the inmates
This was also in there
IT looks like a jpg
I don't think it's anything special. Looks like typical service pins. Probably went on his ASUs
The blue star banner is symbolic of a loved one serving in the armed forces.
USMC emblem.
Thanks man
Np. If it helps it's usually something displayed by the parents of a serving child.
That makes sense because my great grandfather served in World War 2 and this was in a box of my grandfathers prized possessions
Maybe it was something his parents owned, it was common practice in both world wars.
That’s what I’m thinking because I just found this box in a barn where my grandfather lived before he passed away in 2003 because we live on the land that he owned
Most likely. Not rare but the sentimental value is priceless.
The USMC emblem is neat too.
Yeah thanks for helping out really means a lot
No problem. Keep them safe.
Also I had my great grandfathers honorable discharge papers from World War 2 but I have no clue what happened to them it really pains me knowing I lost them and that I didn’t make a digital copy
Unfortunate, but these are still something to show.
Yeah
Did he ever tell you about the time he killed fiddy men?
/k/ is a pretty good place to ask about this stuff
