I'm really just upgrading parts as they need to be replaced and learning from there. Now my car handles like a fucking dream after doing the suspension on Saturday. You need a welder to weld it into the exhaust many times. If its a bolt on then you still need to jack the car to access it and you'll need to remove the oxygen sensor then unbolt and grease the gears. Check with online instructions for your make and model for the gasket and spring bolt instructions. Other than that just put it back on bolt it down tight and put the oxygen sensor back in.

Hard to tell. Depends on the year of the car and different mechanics are going to charge different prices. You can Google average prices, but that sounds about right. Ask around town and see what they say.
If possible, you might be able to supply the parts since it's usually cheaper.
