I have two meme-bull mixes. I have a soft spot for adopting rescues that have a hard time finding a home.

I got the black one when a shelter nearby had a free adoption weekend and he was the only dog not taken. Made me sad so I had to go get him.

I'm not sure if he's super smart (I think he's starting to go senile actually) but he's about average intelligence for a cat I guess. I mean he knows how to actually hunt

We would play with him all day long and then he would attack us in the night if we moved while sleeping

How are they tempermant-wise? I always hear such bad things about bull mixes but just kind of assume most who have bad things to say are probably just shit at dogs.

At the moment, my dachshund is more angry and aggressive than my two pitbull lab mixes. So far they're about 3 months old, I've only seen a few pitbulls (so no idea of how they act) but mine tend to act all wiggly like labs do while also being clumsy as fuck. If my dachshund and one of the pit mixes got turned into caucasian ovcharkas, I'd be more worried about the weiner dogs temperment.

Found this little dude on the street. Blind in one eye, obviously abused by males (he wouldn't let any male touch him and he would be terrified of my dad and I). Vet told us he was about 7 months old when we found him, and if we took him to the pound he'd most likely be put down since he's blind in one eye and also partially deaf.

Couldn't bring myself to do it, so my family and I decided to keep him.

He's been in my life for 6 years now, and he's such a great, happy dog, He's been there for my dad and I during the hardest time of our lives (Lost mom suddenly to cancer) and he keeps my dad busy and happy. He brings a ton of joy to my family due to his personality.

Thanks little guy, you truly saved us.
