Youre a piece of shit pet owner if you just let your cat wander free. Outdoor cats kill between 1.5-4 billion birds a year, and untold numbers of native mammals and reptiles. The native mammals they kill are then replaced by more agressive pest species of mice and rats.

Even if none of that happened, you'd still be a shitty owner because the number one cause of cats deaths are being hit by cars outside or being mauled by larger animals. Or running into humans who don't want your pest around. Like me.
