Mostly they are Mesopotamian but with some Arab and Persian admixture.

>Are the people that converted en mass from pagans, to Christians, to Muslims still the same?

Mesopotamia was a melting pot, so although they might not be the same as ancient Mesopotamians, they're very well related. Just like the Turks and the Anatolians, like the Iranians and the Persians, and the Egyptians to their ancient counterparts. Rapes happened, genes were spread, but they're arguably the same people.

Iraqis have blood from Niggers and Achmeds Mespotamians didn't have.

no, the ancient mesopotamians were white

>genes are all that matters

Low hanging fruit. And there's no reason to think all the non-Arabs are "mixed" with the medieval Arabians.

Mesopotamia is still a demographically distinct region and has been continuously. It is the origin of the majority of members of two whole religions, the Mandean faith supposedly founded by St. John the Baptist, and the Yezidi faith supposedly founded by Sheikh Adi. Its importance to Sunni and Shiite Muslims is well known, especially the "holy cities" of the Shiites. In addition, the traditional border between Romans and Persians was located largely in Mesopotamia and this became the border for the first major split in Christianity after 400. The eastern vestige of this split is also a group of which the majority of its members today originate in Mesopotamia, one of four pre-Reformation sects. And traces of the ancient Jewish presence which ended abruptly around 1950 can be found throughout the region.

As for language, Aramaic, the language spoken by the majority of Assyrians and Babylonians on the dawn of Persian rule remains spoken and used around the world. Iraqi Arabic, too, shows the considerable influence of this language as a "substrate", much like Levantine Arabic. Kurdish and Turkish may not have been spoken in the region in antiquity, but their presence, too, reflects the influence of similar groups from similar directions since the start of Mesopotamia.

One should also mention the numerous surviving practices to be found in traditional industries. The antiquity of the traditional way of life, dwellings, boats of the "Marsh Arabs" is widely recognized. In the political sphere, even the radicals gravitate toward the ancient attitudes in the area, as seen with Saddam. And finally, the traditional food and clothing of the Christians may very well be the same as that of the Assyrian Empire, as was noted by travellers familiar with archeology.

>genes are all that matters
>Low hanging fruit

Found an Amerifat.

Genetic studies proved that they’re still the same old Sumerians by-and-large. The marsh arabs even build their homes the same way.

>citation needed

>are people today the same as 5000 years ago?
no

Fuck off

bmcevolbiol.biomedcentral.com/track/pdf/10.1186/1471-2148-11-288?site=bmcevolbiol.biomedcentral.com

he's not wrong though. Culture is what defines a people.

>This is what Amerifats actually believe

Not every country is made from mutts and Nigger slaves, Cletus.

>No actual Mespotamian samples

>Reading comprehension

>Being this desperate to show the Achmeds chimpingout in Iraq have a claim to Mespotamia

The idea that a nation is blood and soil was thoroughly repudiated throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. Every major power in the world is multiethnic. Whatever countries you're referring to simply don't matter.

>He's a New Worlder
>Or a cuck

Niggers and Achmeds (like you, maybe) will never be European. And Niggers in America will never be Egyptian or Moors.

By the way the modern least dysfunctional countries and most accomplished countries have been traditionally homogenous (Japan, Scandinavia's...). While the Americas are mongrelized and filled with chimpouts.

nobody here is either claiming they're american or claiming they're european so i'm not sure what your issue is. All I'm saying is that genetics isn't what primarily defines a nation. Like you say, africans in the US aren't and never will be ancient egyptians. But its not because of genetics, its because they don't have any cultural, linguistic or historical ties to them. Genetically they're closest to west africans or angolans, but guess what, they don't share any cultural or linguistic ties with them and theirs only a historical connection of slavery. Likewise, modern egyptian population is pretty much genetically the same as antiquity but they have nearly no connection as a people with ancient egypt except for ruins and artifacts that were rediscovered in the 19th century. And it has nothing to do with mass rapes. Over time people migrate, languages and culture evolves and new religions and culture are introduced which a population adopts over time

>most accomplished countries
>Japan, Scandinavia's....
lol, ok kid whatever you say

t. 56 percenter who's part german, hawaiian, irish, italian and jewish

>Amerifat

>Lower crime (at least when ignoring crime from Nigger and Achmed migrants forced on the populace)
>Have GDP per capitas comparable with the US and Canada's if not higher
>More healthy (they don't them Amerifats for nothing)
>Scandinavian countries (and other Nordic countries) have more Nobel laureates for their populations than every single country in the Americas

What do garbage pits like Mexico and Brazil contribute again? Orange pickers, drug mules, and whores?

Then again, maybe you're a post-modernist.

Someone got triggered going from that post delete.

Bump

Yes

They're Anatolians LARPing as their E1b1b Afro-Asiatic Overlords, howewer, considering they're contribution to the Afro-Asiatic Race, they can continue to larp

Mesopotamia has been invaded and conquered by about every peoples that have ever existed on the Eurasian continent, and every time there was cultural and ethnical mixture and colonisation.

The original Mesopotamians do not exist anymore.

>Are today's Iraqis the same as the Mespotamians?
of course not

they are arabs with some blacks, iranian and mongol/turkic

>like the Turks and the Anatolians
literally the worst example
>and the Egyptians to their ancient counterparts
Have you even read a genetic paper before?
gj /histard brainlet keep up the good work

Nice infographic. Care to provide other sources?

>Every major power in the world is multiethnic
Being multiethnic is not the same as being multiracial or multicultural though. A German and a French living in the same country is totally different than a Japanese and a Tunisian living in the same one.
Also, it's way easier to form a new identity or integrate when you have people that look similar and have a similar culture. That's what happened in USA, integrating europeans under a new identity while people with different backgrounds became isolated and nowadays are just grouped as "minorities".

Yes, today's Iraqi's are the same as the Mesopotamians. It's pretty impressive actually, every other culture actually changed in between then and now.

Don't forget to print it, wrap it and stick it up your ass

Hmm, that seems nice
