Goring really strikes me was one of the most despicable figures of the Third Reich. Obviously being complicit in mass murder is bad and all, but what gets me about him is just how slimy and douchey he was on a personal level. I feel like some other Germans could've been good men if born into different circumstances, but that fuck was always going to be human garbage no matter where he was.
