Anyone got interesting WW2 pics?

That's a ww1 tank...
You probably already know that you shitposter.. This is now a ww1 pic thread.
Here's my favorite.
Also, that's a British tank, a mk 5. Why does it have a German iron cross?
They had the A7V like this..
What kinda shit are you trying to pull OP?
making the transition from reddit?
I'm dumping my ww1 pics now..
Get outta here with your grainy ass colorless picture.
At least I don't try to color mine and they turn out looking like shit
nice trips.
how dare you post without a pic, this isn't a discussion thread..
...
i dont have anything against black and white actually..
>Gettyimages
you're right, I should post an image that appears in every WW2 thread and that everybody has seen like you do
the colors just make it pop tho, i feel like you lose a lot of emotion in the black and whites...
this is a ww1 picture thread sir, please stop posting 250x200 thumbnails..

>Anyone got interesting WW2 pics?
Sure sounds like a WW1 picture thread
Nobody is going to take the time to open every picture in your folder that they've seen 100 times already anyway.
eh, maybe you will.
i got nothing better to do.
Its captured
i like the guy in the black shirt in this one..
i guess i should've thought of that..
i know that germans where behind the ball at the time as far as tank development/deployment goes..

...
didn't you say 'me in the center right' last time this pic was posted
check'd
no, but i stole it from that guy.
this one too i think, trench raiders.
...
looks like that armor was made for Americans
i guess they gotta wear alot of padding under them...
the guy in the right looks like he took a couple of hits, i wonder why he wast hurt.
i have shamed myself for wasting a post on just text...
...
...
maybe he took the armor off a dead guy
now we are equals
my grandfather told me the other day that when he just joined the army, (right before ww2), they were still using the puttees, that cloth that that guy has around his leg.
That and canvas leggings where wore above field shoes before they had proper combat boots..
The guy on the right wasn't that armor's first wearer.
...
...
something don't look right about that one on second thought...
...
it couldn't possibly be the amateur and foolish coloring inherent in every picture you have posted?
thats probably it.
let me see ur pictures, im almost out..
i did it agian.
...
...
you can never have enough hand grenades

What do you folks think of colorized images? I know people say they're ahistorical and just guesswork, but they really make it more real and interesting, some of these look like modern pictures.
...
i like em, i think they add a certain bit of character thats lacking in the black and whites.
...
They are horrible and no they do not make it real.
If you need colour to be appealed to history you should leave this place and go back to /historyporn
thats all i got of the 26th infantry..
black and white does have a quality all its own i'll admit.
...
this is my last one, i gotta go to sleep.
Doesn't look like a real WW2 photo
This is from a movie iirc
looks like that guy from silicon valley
*blocks ur path*
Anyone got any good pics from the Pacific/Burma campaigns?
long exposure of artillery fire

The Germans used more captured enemy tanks than A7Vs
That is a fucking awful excuse for a colorization
That's a reenactment.
This is from a post-war movie.
When amateurs do it it's horrible.. Professionals like Marina Amaral and others do it amazingly well.
I am an amateur and trying to improve.
Here is my last work.
What can I improve?
Also, I want some pictures to colorize but I don't know where to choose one....
My great great uncle was in that unit.
Thats cool, keep it up
Think you can do Civil War photos?
Here's an artist's rendition of a soldier belonging to the same unit for reference
Thank you.
But this pic has a low resolution.
I found this one but it is damaged and I need more color details, I will try but if you have another one I will be pleased.
Cool
