I didn't "gain" any hair.
It just returned to what my hairline looked like when I was younger which is just 1cm from where it is now.

I have a genetic five-head and there is nothing short of a full transplant that can change that.

the more hair you have for this stuff to attach to, the better the rain/wind resistance. This is a bad example since he has balded to the point where these concealers don't do much and have little hair to cling to. Still, it is a terrible idea to wear this stuff in the rain

I've been on fin for around 8 months now. My dick works better than it ever has. Hair still looks like shit though. It's a bit thicker, but nothing I really care much about.

there's this substance you can buy from China called RU58841. You apply it topically and it completely blocks DHT from binding in your scalp and causing hair loss. It reverses hair loss probably 5 times better than propecia. It's not yet FDA approved so like I said, you have to order it from China but if you are willing to shell out some money, the results are pretty damn amazing. I stopped due to the price tho. Anyone else tried it?

if finasteride lowers your testosterone (I don't think it does), just take some testosterone. it's not a big deal; you follow a five minute procedure once a week and health insurance pays for it.

it seems like a lot of (or maybe all of) the purported issues with fina stem from the fact that men start taking it at a time in their lives when their bodies start to change and their libido decreases accordingly. there's a huge psychological component to ed. I think it's also no coincidence that there aren't any case studies of men castrated by finasteride, yet there are entire online communities dedicated to the issue; finasteride has become a convenient scapegoat for men whose porn addiction and psychological hang-ups have left them sexually dysfunctional.

You guys are nuts to be using finasteride in 2016 with all that is known about it. I used it for 3 years with no major side effects and it grew a little hair, but then the sexual side effects hit, numbness in penis, peyronies disease, ejaculation disorder, reduced penis size, pain. Believe me, hair isn't that big of a deal and not worth the gamble.

I took it for 6 months, and my testes shrunk. I've been off it for over a year, but they still haven't recovered.

I'm tall (6'3), good jawline, facial hair, and put on muscle easily. My options at this point are to either go on fin sometime soon, or just ride it out and see what happens. I don't trust the fact that fin gets rid of your DHT though. I don't think shaving my head someday in the future is going to take that big of a hit on my overall appeal either. I've recently bought some Nizoral shampoo and I think puberty is slowing down to its entirely possible that it takes a while to get to a point where I need to anyway?

nizoral isn't going to do anything by itself. get minoxidil, see how it works for six months or so, if you see notable improvement, keep at it, if you don't, consider finasteride.
